Had a great lunch here! I had the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and it was so delicious. The rice and beans are also super flavorful and I liked them a lot especially topped with their salsa that was quite tasty, they have several different salsas available to buy and what I got was really good! My family all enjoyed what they got as well. Was a flavorful place to eat at and was exactly what I was craving!

Underwhelming, very underwhelming…. but might still be better than other Mexican food places that you’ll find in Hawaii. We got steak burritos, salsa & chips and Guac. Guac was purely made of mashed avocados. No flavor. needed more salt, lime juice, tomatoes and onions… The chips lacked any flavor… the salsa was like watered down spicy tomato sauce.. .. the burritos were barely wrapped, I’d say they were ‘folded’. Burritos tasted ‘fine’ at best. Would I come back here again? No.

This food was delicious! The pollo asada regular burrito had great flavor and was tender. I would eat here again. We got to the restaurant just before 11 and we’re the only people there so we were initially a bit worried that it might not be that good. Shortly after we ordered though the place became packed. We ordered at just the right time as every table was full before we finished eating.

If you’re feeling really hungry and want something savory and fast, this is the place for you. I got the fish taco plate and my husband got the kitchen sink burrito with steak. The fish tacos rocked because the fish is fried in a batter of cilantro and jalapeño. And a huge bonus is that this restaurant has a salsa cilantro bar —perfect for a salsa fan like myself.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport, and Las Pinatas was a perfect option! It was high quality good at an affordable price, and most importantly, it was quick! The staff was friendly, and provided suggestions. Note: You have to ask the staff to get access to the bathroom.

Stopped in with the kids after being on a direct 11 hour flight from the east coast. I was HANGRY! The service was so friendly and welcoming! We had salsa and chips to start and then I had the fish taco! It was fantastic! The family ordered steak and shrimp tacos, they ate everything and said they were good. I was too busy stuffing my face to notice at that moment!!

My husband and I had a delay in our flight returning back home. The food here made it super worth it!!! They had tasty options for vegetarians and some of the most affordable prices we’ve seen during our time in Maui. We’ll definitely come back next time around!

Place was PACKED! The guy at the register was great, a couple people were snaring tables before ordering so there was no seating after we ordered. But he masterfully & kindly sorted it out, got us seated, and by the time the table-stealers ordered, tables opened up for them….good going man! Been here many times, always excellent for us Mexican food aficionados!

The food was absolutely delicious, I especially liked the grilled mushrooms. Although I prefer to eat vegan, I often request refried beans (that are traditionally made with lard.). When I mentioned this to the owner, she assured me that her refried beans are always made with plant based oil. One of the oils that she said she sometimes uses is peanut oil. The result could not have tasted better. However, if you’re allergic to peanuts, you should make sure that peanut oil is not being used that day. It’s not an ingredient that I would ordinarily be watching out for in a Mexican restaurant.

Our first Maui meal was at this restaurant. The lady at the restaurant was very friendly and nice to talk to. Food was very good and reasonably priced. We tried veggie enchilada and veggie tacos and they were perfect!
