Definitely not what we expected, the prices were really high, and there was a really bad smell in the restaurant, either strong paint or sewer, my daughter could take the smell anymore, definitely not coming back. We paid almost a hundred dollars for two tortas ahogadas, one order of quesadillas and Two ordes of chiken tenders, and 3 chiken tacos that were not good at all.

I order tacos dorados. Delivery was super fast but this tacos wasn’t make at the moment when I call, seriously.!!! Its easy to know when there is a fresh taco Dorado because is crunchy ( but when is not crunchy, test like gum that means it’s not fresh) I rather wait 15 or 20 minutes more but get a fresh tacos dorados.

This place is amazing! If you go, go for what they are known for. Tortas ahogadas. Amazing!!! But super spicy which we loved! If you not a fan of spicy stuff, then definitely not a place for you. The flavor is so darn good and meat taste so good. We got the tortas half soaked which was the way to go since it was really spicy so we had half that wasn’t soaked to calm down the spiciness. We got the chicken nuggets for the kids and a taco for my other one. They both liked it a lot as well. Horchata was pretty good as well. Definitely will try this place out again. I wish they had one of these by me in Joliet/Plainfield.

Very bad service the workers just stand and just talk and laugh like it’s free time or a party going on , I came in with my family hungry and ready to order and when the food was ready they came and serve the table but we had to ask for what was missing leaving us with cold food and my family waiting to eat , hope someone can talk to them and showed them that customers are first!!!! Chips were also old and fries to hard

There isn’t a lot of good service around the area and this location is included. It is a shame because Mexican food is actually good but there isn’t any locations around this area where I would trust them with their service because they all treat me bad.

Step into Las Picosas, a culinary oasis situated in the heart of Mexican tradition and flavor. Here, the essence of Mexico’s bustling streets merges seamlessly with contemporary culinary expertise, creating an experience that tantalizes the senses and transports diners to a world of vibrant tastes and aromas. From the moment you enter, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere that pulses with energy, where every corner tells a story of rich culinary heritage and passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. The décor of Las Picosas is a fusion of rustic charm and modern flair. Adorned with colorful murals depicting scenes of Mexican life, the ambiance is both inviting and energetic. The rhythmic beats of Latin music fill the air, adding to the restaurant’s lively spirit. Las Picosas features an extensive menu of authentic Mexican dishes, but one item stands out above the rest: the legendary Torta Ahogada. Repeatedly hailed as the best in town, it’s no wonder that this dish draws food enthusiasts from far and wide. Upon the recommendation of numerous satisfied customers, I decided to indulge in the Torta Ahogada with “everything” and an extra dose of the signature sauce. As the plate arrived, I was immediately struck by the aroma – a tantalizing blend of spices and slow-cooked pork. The first bite was a revelation. The pork, tender and succulent, practically melted in my mouth, while the richness of the sauce enveloped every morsel in a fiery embrace. The spiciness of the sauce was perfectly balanced, adding depth and complexity to each bite without overpowering the palate. What truly sets Las Picosas’ Torta Ahogada apart is its unique flavor profile. It’s not just a sandwich; it’s a culinary masterpiece that harmonizes textures and tastes in perfect harmony. The crispness of the bread, the tenderness of the pork, and the boldness of the sauce come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. Las Picosas is more than just a restaurant – it’s a celebration of Mexican gastronomy at its finest. Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or a curious newcomer, a visit to Las Picosas promises a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more. As for the Torta Ahogada, it’s not just a meal; it’s a revelation that will redefine your expectations of Mexican cuisine.

Loved it. It is hard to find a tortas ahogadas place outside of Jalisco. This place delivered very good quality and very good taste. We would have wanted to have tacos a little bit more crispy but in general was good. Tortas were good ingredients and sauces were very nice, meat could be improved and bread as well. Bring your own beer and ask for a michelada mug. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious Mexican food, always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly. My favorite menu items to order are the Torta Ahogadas & Tacos Dorados Ahogadas. I LOVE how spicy the sauce is and the Carnitas are made to perfection.

Was craving a banana split and this place was the closest to me so I stopped in. When I got my order the presentation of the banana split was horrible. After paying $15 bcuz I ordered 2. Plus the bananas were hard couldn’t even bite them. I think I could make tostones of them bananas! Smh never again!

We have been ordering from here for a while now. I don’t know if they change the person in charge of reviewing the orders but they have messed up our last 4 orders from Uber eats. They add ingredients without asking or take them without asking. This time they gave us tacos without the onion and cilantro and on the app there was only the option to remove while the description said that it came with. Please be sure to call them and verify your order cause probably they will mess up.
