The tacos were not big at all. They use one egg per taco. Bacon crisp and not paper thin. Bean and cheese was so good. Would go back. They have alot of food options. Price was Great! Will be back.

We were greeted by a server, who seemed like she didnt want to work. Both of orded chilaqui mexicana plates. We did not see the fine print of eggs, chicken or steak. We tried chicken and steak also eggs over medium. Server did not inform us. We were shocked for additional charge of 2.99 for eggs plus 2.00 price difference from online to menu for dine-in. Then we also informed our server we couldnt eat pur eggs because they tasted like dish soap. At first i thoight my.friend was crazy, after my 2nd bite i realized they were not. We both left the eggs that we were charged for. My friends steak was tough and left half of it. Tortillas were chewy like undercooked. My red sauce was barely warmed qith my chips that not any of mexican cheese melted. No sour cream to top it off. Just feel way over priced for what we left due tonlpoor quality and lack of service communication. I know its hard times, but its my money that was hard earned to support your local business. I dont mind paying for quality. I am shamed to have take my friend to breakfast after bragging how good tacos are on 4th of July

This place honestly does not deserve any stars. I ordered the tripe mini tacos plate and my goodness! Disgusting! When I notified someone working there due to our waitress telling them I disliked my order, she picked up my plate with frustration. Decided not to order anything else, while my son ate a bland hamburger and mother ate crispy taco plate that also was so bland! They then charged .50cents for a to go box! Brought dad home some caldo de pollo ♀️ chunks of one or two pieces of vegetables and a slice of chicken! The reviews on this place lol are they real? Because this places food was not good nor worth the cost.

I used to live near Pichanchas downtown. So when I saw a second location open I had to try it. I love their breakfast tacos especially when you add their molcajete salsa. These are my favorite Mexican places in San Antonio..and since San Antonio has the best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere in the country. I’m going to make the leap and say, it’s the best breakfast tacos in the world. Thanks for being awesome!

I came here in search of the best tacos in the area. They are decent tacos and the prices are very good but I feel like they still missed the mark for 5 stars. I ordered 3 bacon and egg, 3 chorizo and egg and 3 potato and egg. I have added the picture for others to see. They were good but not great. I will be back to see if they have any other plates worthy of 5 stars. Better than most in the area but I’m still looking for the best.

First time here since the change to a new restaurant.
Chips & Queso (8): The cheese was very good. The server provided it for free during lunch.
Menudo (7.5): was pretty decent. There was a strong seasoning (maybe chili) but used a few Limes that tempered down that flavor.
Corn Tortillas (homemade) – (7.5): Fresh, but very thick.
Flour Tortillas (homemade) – (9) – Love em’! Soft, Fresh, and almost like Abuelita’s!
Potato, Egg, and Chz (9): Probably one of the best… The potatoes were soft, the eggs were tasty, and became a fan with the first bite.
Carne Guisada Taco (8.5): Probably one of the best in Schertz… Melanie’s down the street is good, but the tenderness and size combined with those freshly made Tortillas made it a beautiful moment.
Asada Mini Tacos (7): These could have been a 9 rating, but the meat seemed as if it was recooked… In other words, leftovers. If they were made Fresh, that would have been a game-changer. Many pieces of meat were crispy and crunchy. Not what I want when eating asada. The more tender, the better
Sopaipilla or like (5): It was free, very dense, and had a pancake batter taste.
Server (9): She was very friendly and attentive.

Atmosphere (8): small but very colorful, warm, and inviting.
Parking Lot is small and dining was busy.

Great fine in Main St in Schertz. This is #2 so there must be an original location (which is on Frederiscksburg RD) elsewhere. This place was just such a find. Super clean, extra friendly and polite staff, great food, and well their salsa was just completely different than many, many others served across the metro area. Proud to be in the US, serving the community and the airman stationed nearby at Randolph AFB part of Joint Base San Antonio. It is more than worth the drive, and was just exceptional. As Arnold said….”I’ll be back”

I really used to like this place. My last 3 visits there has been a significant decline in the quality of the food. My most recent visit was abysmal on a service level. I’m genuinely disappointed, I won’t be coming here again.

Really good food and service. I am really mad at myself for not coming here sooner. I drive passed it often enough. I got breakfast a few times already and this last time I decided to see if lunch was as good. .sure was. And prices are reasonable .the dinning room is clean and the food is served up fast .
