We had very good, authentic Mexican food at Las Palomas during a quick wine pick up visit in Prosser. This was our second time choosing Las Palomas, it’s close to the Best Western hotel. The service both times was attentive and friendly, the menu has plenty of choices, the food was super fresh and hot. I had a sope with barbacoa and it was really good! And 2 fish tacos. I would order both again. My husband had a creamy bacon wrapped shrimp dish, he said it was perfect. We each had a drink and they were tasty but not very strong. We enjoyed the chips and salsa. Chips were fresh and crispy, and the salsa was freshly made and very tasty without being too spicy. Maybe others would say its not spicy enough but i like it mild. The vibe is relaxed and family friendly with sports TVs and lively Mexican music in the background. We left satisfied and happy, and we’ll be back!

Great food, worth the drive. We hung out for a while and Maria, our server was friendly and made sure we felt like friends. We had everything we needed and a memorable time. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

The best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had! My husband and I shared an order of the tacos. I only wish I had room for more. We will definitely be back!

Out of 15 tables available, only 12 were occupied. There was 2 servers. We called ahead for reservations as we had a large group.
Upon arriving, we were seated immediately! That’s where the disaster started, 15-20 minutes to get drinks, another 15-20 minutes until our order was started, 25 minutes later we got 2 of our 6 orders, 10 more minutes another 3 orders came out. My 13 yr old daughter didn’t get hers until almost 1 hour after we walked in and everyone else was done eating.
Enchiladas had brown cheap gravy poured on them, beans were runny like water and rice was burnt!
Only good thing was that they made good BLOODY MARYS!
WON’T GO BACK!

I was debating on this review. (Photos included) 1st thing first, I ordered sliced avocado ($3) and that’s what I got. Second, the place was at 83 degrees inside, I saw the temp gauge. Third, I got this in a bag that was tilted, leaked everywhere! I had to put it in a second bag so it would not leak. This is the worst mexican restaurant I have eaten at. I spent $30+ dollars, and I tipped $2 for a 2go order, I should have kept the money. Unbelievable . Way overpriced. For this meal and experience, I should have payed maybe 18 dollars.

I like to give people many chances because I believe that sometimes we tend to have bad days but when it happens more then once and I see it happen to other customers then thats when I decided to make this review I am a very regular customer to las palomas in prosser because the food is amazing and I love the atmosphere but sadly I will not be going back I always seem to get the same waitress I asked for my receipt this time to see the name of who this person was and let me tell you for Adalisia we are all just a number I have seen customers ask her for boxes or refills and as soon as she walks away she rolls her eyes I have over heard her questioning the customers and I have seen her walk away from customers when they are still talking to her at first I thought it was just my encounter with her but no definitely not just my experience if people are so unhappy with there jobs then they shouldn’t be working there I would rather drive my family 30 mins west to have good food but great customer service sadly thanks to my experience with this waitress I will not be coming back here.

I’m a truck driver from back east in Virginia. I was passing through and in the mood for some Mexican food. I’ve always thought Mexican food out west tastes a lot better than Mexican food back east. I happened to bring that up, and my lovely server was able to tell me all about it. She had written an essay back in school about it. I learned something new thanks to her.
Anyway, the food was outstanding and the service was good. It was such a nice day. I decided to eat outside on their covered patio.
