The food was taken out with no pics as I was hungry. The customer service was good. The place was empty but clean and kind of ducked off of the highway but not difficult to find. All in all, a 7 out of 10. The prices are a bit high but the food was good.

Great Food! Fun & Friendly Atmosphere no matter the age! And, hands down the most phenomenal service. Not to mention the best margaritas around!

Let’s get to it.. I am honest.. and I review so you can stop and eat, or save your money.. my order was over $70, I will not be returning due to the quality and quantity of the food. Fajita Tacos plate (comes with two flour tacos), inside was one piece and a half strip of beef fajita I kid you not. They were so small, rice with the peas in it was not good… refried beans were runny. Hot sauce was just tomato.. lacked jalapeño and just flavor over all. White cheese is totally flavorless they call it queso that’s not queso.. nor was I asked if I wanted white or yellow as I later saw as an option on the menu. Soft drinks are off big time they lack carbon and lack syrup. Very small portions of South West egg rolls, and a huge to go plate for such small portions of nachos, I have eaten real Mexican food and this is not it.. I have eaten real Tex-Mex this is not even close. Save your money. I added an extra fajita taco it was $5.00 alone. If it was a good portion then it would be fine but no they are serving way under portion.

We have tried Las Palmas a few times. Dine In and Take Out. Simply put none of us enjoyed it. Something is off with the cheese. It’s yellow, I know its yellow queso but the yellow is not like any questions I have ever seen before and texture is not right. Almost like plastic snot. Sorry, at a loss for how to describe it. It is a thing. I love Mexican food. This place just isn’t it for us. We hoped the first time was a fluke. Our waiter acted like we were crazy, because we didn’t want to go boxes and told them we just really didn’t enjoy it. We were told they have never had any complaints before. I assume thevwaiter ment they had personally never recieved complaints. Maybe they were new.

Good food. Good service. Able to take care of a party of 20. I got Carne Asada combo. A lot of food. Will try happy plate, shrimp, or carne asada tacos next time.

The Del Rio was really good. I was surprised with the apple pie, it’s advertised as “served sizzling on a skillet” so I was wondering how that would work with a takeout order. They included what I can only describe as liquid apple butter, so I could put it in my own skillet at home. The pie slice was your average store bought pie but the applebutter concoction really made it so delicious.

This has been our go to place for Texmex for 7 years now. For starters, their chips and salsa have no competition – it’s flawless. I always go for the carne asada combo, and between the chips and the entree, it’s legit 3 meals and a snack. The charro bean soup is also amazing. Whenever we get Alver (I think that’s his name) as a waiter, things at especially excellent. He is super attentive and friendly and he is always on top of his game.
