Volcan an el molecajete excellent dishes very good flavor. Very hot container but servers warn you before placing on the table. Let food sit for a couple of minutes before eating. Friendly service.

Tacos were very very flavorful, chips and salsa were perfect, lighting really set the atmosphere and the margarita was excellent! However, it was a little bit loud inside, even the server had a hard time hearing my order. Still, this is way above and beyond your average Mexican grill!

We were excited to try this restaurant. The place looks nice but it was very crowded and people were loud during our visit. Food was good but they put cheese on the beans when I had asked for no cheese and in one shrimp I found the part that needs to be cleaned out, the intestine. My husband got enchiladas and tacos and I got shrimp with peppers mushrooms and onions. Some onions were burnt. Waiters were very nice. We liked the fact that they all were wearing masks

We live in St. Joseph and we love this restaurant, but as of last week we WILL NOT BE RETURNING. We ordered take out. Got the Chicken On the Beach like always. NO FLAVOR. Again Take Out. I never leave a tip on Take Out Orders. Went I went to do my banking online I discovered that they gave themselves 22% tip. OVER $7 dollars for a Take Out Order! I’m sure that they have done this MANY of times to other customers, but they will NEVER do this to me again. NEVER returning! You are THIEVES!

A friend and I visited this location for dinner tonight (02/22/23). The service was good during our meal, the food was good and hot, average prices. The location was big enough that I felt we had enough privacy during our conversation. We sat for a while after we ate, but the waiter never came back to check on us after he gave us the bill. I would have loved another drink.

Tojin was extremely attentive and kind. He was able to make great suggestions for all of our dietary needs. The food was incredible. Margaritas phenomenal. All meals jam packed with meal and cheese. The guacamole was hand made and extremely fresh. We don’t live in the area but will definitely be coming back for this place!!

Ordered the guacamole, decent. Definitely think the queso was better. I got the Carnitas *a MUST try*. The pork was super tender and juicy, and crispy on the outside. Came with tortillas fried potato slivers and all the fixins. My GF got the chicken quesadilla smothered in queso which was also very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Also had the “jumbo” margaritas which were decent.

BEST refried beans, HANDS DOWN!! Literally, the best I’ve ever had in my 40 years! Their beans are so good, I order just them when we do tacos at home. I’ve also been known to eat it just by itself. So good! I’m actually getting some tonight as well:)
