good service & food. Drinks were really good. I would recommend the buffet on Sundays, it’s fairly decent from baked potato’s to steak n rice, especially when you bring your kids and they’re indecisive of what they want. I don’t remember our server’s name but he was very attentive, nice and recommended really good drinks. This is my second time here, definitely will continue to come back.

I have eaten at almost every Mexican restaurant in Tupelo. This one was the worst so far. Where do I start? We were the only ones at a table. A couple of people at the bar. Ordered fajitas. Didn’t come with tortillas. Fajitas came, but small portion. Tortillas came 7 minutes later. They were cold and frankly aweful. Rice was microwaved. The top layer of rice was hard due to the microwave. The best part was the beer, margarita, and the water. Service was awful. One table, us, and we had to call them to get anything, including the check.

Alejandro was our server and he was very accommodating. He helped me with everything I needed and he went above and beyond!
And as far as the atmosphere, absolutely peaceful, I love the authentic Spanish music. We went on a Saturday and they had two for one margaritas- were delicious and all the food was absolutely great! I don’t know if they have the buffet every day but they did this Saturday … It’s like $16 but the food on it is worth it if you’re hungry come here and get you a Mexican buffet because I don’t know if many places around there that actually have the Mexican buffet that’s a here in Cantina del Sol are the only ones in Tupelo that I know about and I didn’t know about this one. Absolutely delightful.

Overall, it was just ok. They had items shown on the menu that weren’t listed by name. What’s the purpose of that? I had one of the items not listed on the menu but name. It was basically a burrito packed with lettuce and I few pieces of steak. Wasn’t worth the time it took to drive there. Everyone was nice and the drinks were good, but it just didn’t suit me.

The customer service is horrible went during dinner time not to busy was seated but didn’t have a server no one every came to ask what we would like to drink was waiting 15 minutes just for some salsa and chips so we just got up and left … they need to do better

After debating on what to eat, we ended up here and got seated after a short wait. Waitress took a while to get to us. We ordered our drinks and food, never had any chips and salsa brought out like most Mexican restaurants, after a few minutes the waitress came out and let us know they were out of chips, now minutes d you I ordered guacamole and fajita nachos at this point all we had received were our drinks we opted to leave we both had taken a few drinks KS of our flat coke and unsweetened tea, we ended up having to pay 7.50 for the drinks because of this restaurant not being prepared properly. All in all the service was laking in every aspect. We will never go back to this restaurant….

Ordered two kids nachos off meal. Beans,rice, or fries included.
Children didn’t want the beans or rice ON nacho .
Asked if it could be on the side. Yes, no problem.
When tab came, was charged for items as ON THE SIDE. Additional 5.89 and when asked. No reason, no adjustment.

Poisoning is the next step. All food on buffet was cold. Good for salsa and sour cream. Bad for shrimp and chicken. Told the lunch price was 12, 17 was what I was charged. Asked for manager and waiter said he was one. No adjustment because you ate some of food before you said anything.
