So, I picked up some pork tamales and were a bit toastier more than I like them… let them know, hopefully not get someone worked up. Instead, spoke to the sweetest manager and was able to get my problem resolved! With some amazin Carne Guisada with cheese tacos and fresh lemonade! Best customer service at this location off TPC. I was very surprised and pleased with the outcome. Like warm welcomes and great food I strongly recommend you go see Sofia at Las Palapas! Great job!

From the top notch customer service experience to the amazing food, this Las Palapas at TPC Parkway delivered one great experience for us! Alejandra (our server) was kind, informative, and diligent in delivering our drinks and food! The food was cooked to what I can only compare to as top notch Hispanic quality food, and the atmosphere was perfect! Came to eat my first meal of the day to break my fast. I felt like eating breakfast so I ordered huevos rancheros with a side of bacon and a
coffee. Since it was noon, I was brought some chips and salsa which unfortunately were the best part of this meal. The fresh flour tortillas were great, the Ranchero sauce super salty and the potatoes were definitely reheated, tough and I literally spit them out. The over medium eggs were made to my liking but I am not sure if the eggs were salted or the sauce too salty, so it was not the best although the eggs were made just as I like. The atmosphere is superb, the restaurant, beautiful and the staff delightful. The coffee was just coffee and the music was a great choice as always. But again, the best part of this meal today was the chips and salsa. I didn’t complain to my wait staff and I ate my food, simply because I didn’t want to make a fuzz about it but I have definitely had better huevos rancheros from smaller mom and pop’s restaurants in town.

My fiancé and I have our weekly date night here and LOVE the food, but more importantly the service! Roberta at the bar is always bubbly, thoughtful, and remembers conversations we have had and pays great attention to not only us, but the whole bar. Sarah is always attentive, checks in on us, and is so friendly and personable. It’s evident that the manager Joe is respected by his employees and he is always walking around and checking on diners. The service industry is hard and the staff here are always so positive, friendly, and make dining here a highlight of our week!

The food was delicious as always. I love their tacos al carbon. It was busy, but our waiter was spread all over the restaurant and didn’t come by or offer us any refills. He only showed up as we were finishing and asked for the check. Not the same level of service we had come to expect from the other location over by Ft Sam.

We’ve attempted to dine here twice. The service is the slowest I’ve ever seen. We left both times without eating. However, we’ve ordered the chicken tortilla soup by phone, for pickup, on multiple occasions and it’s delicious! Absolutely flavorful and packed full of homemade goodness.

I have eaten and ordered from here and the 1604/281 location quite a few times with no issues. However, tonight my daughter ordered through Uber Eats from the north 281 location for my birthday. We all received our meals and she discovered mold on her chicken in her chicken tortilla soup. I don’t know how a cook wouldn’t see all the mold on the chicken. What temperature is the chicken being stored at? This is not okay. Please remember to treat others the way you want to be treated, and don’t use moldy chicken in any meal.

These guys make fantastic tacos! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered five freshly prepared tacos that were huge, and we spent $17.85. Next time we’re in San Antonio, we’ll return for brunch!

This Las Palapas on TPC is an excellent place to eat dine in. My drink is unsweet tea that is refreshing. The chips and salsa are always delicious and at times I like to order the con crema sauce with my chips and salsa. Service is always outstanding, the food is hot and tasty. This is a nice place just to come sit have a bowl of soup and relax.
