The food was okay i ordered shrimp in butter sauce but got the same sauce my girl friend got with her shrimp a la diabla. Her shrimp were peeled mine were whole which i was aware of but they were not deveined.

Dropped about $25 on a Friday night at Las Mojarras and it was worth every penny. Started with the Vuelve a la Vida cocktail, shrimp, octopus, oysters—all fresh and flavorful. Then had the Mojarra al Mojo de Ajo; the garlic butter sauce was spot on. Came with rice, salad, and sweet plantains that hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly, and the place had a laid-back, welcoming vibe. Definitely coming back for more.

Great little hidden gem! Had the fish tacos, the langostinos in garlic sauce and the shrimp cocktail…all were excellent. Really great food at an affordable price. Highly recommend this place. You could easily pay 3 times as much at a fancier place for lesser quality food.

This place is awsome ! Its priced very reasonably, the food is always fresh , always packed with a lot of flavor and the service is great too. I have spent a couple birthdays here and they never disappoint. Seeing the same friendly faces of the family that owns this place is always nice. They keep all their recipes up to expectations and are very consistent. I am walking distance from this place and I take full advantage of it. I’ve spent many dinners here practically nearly licking my plate. Its that good.
Highly recommend El Chapuzon it’s the best I have ever had. The spicy sauce they use is up to par with if not better than some of the more expensive places in the city.
Oh and it’s byob.

The finest seafood dishes prepared and served up by some of the nicest people you will ever encounter. These people work from their hearts. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The seafood dishes here will rival anything meal you would be served on either coast of Mexico. Believe me, I know.

This place is amazing.. it’s literally a hidden treasure.. the food is so delicious, staff is so friendly and is a hidden gem in the south East side.. my only regret is not stopping sooner in the 15 years that I have lived in this area..

It’s a very small establishment but their food is authentic mexican. The service was friendly and food was made fresh and tasted great. There is a small parking lot on the side and the should be available parking. They seem to specialize in sea food entrees if that helps.
