I cannot recommend Las Meras Tortas highly enough! From the moment we ordered, the service was unbelievably quick. In no time at all, our food was ready, piping hot, and perfectly prepared.
But speed is nothing without quality, and the food here is truly exceptional. Every single item we tried was delicious—clearly made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavor. If you are looking for a genuine, quick, and satisfying meal, this is the place.

One of my new favorite restaurants in the area. Food is delicious. Have tried 4 different tortas and loved them all. On top of that, the prices are very affordable and the portions are enormous. Food is always ready within 10 minutes. Highly recommend to all

I don’t know how Las Meras Tortas fell off my radar, but good gracious am I glad to have it back. Our family of five went for an early dinner on Friday and enjoyed a mostly empty restaurant, so ordering and seating were quick and easy. Food was super fresh and each of our kids enjoyed something from the menu. It was a dining miracle! Lol I had the suadero and pollo asada tacos and they were absolutely incredible. The suadero taco was like the most tender, flavorful roast you’ve ever eaten, but in a tortilla with all the best toppings. The pollo asada was full of flavor but not too spicy for those of us raised a little bland. lol My kids enjoyed the child’s burrito and the flautas which were stuffed with chicken and had a ton of yummy toppings. My husband had the carne asada taco, which I also tried, and the steak was just the perfect flavors of grill and beef. We managed to eat our fill and still spent less than we would on a family meal at a fast food restaurant. The only thing I was mad about was that I didn’t get the mango agua Fresca – tried my daughters and it tasted like a freshly peeled slice of mango. SO GOOD!

This is hands-down, our favorite authentic Hispanic restaurant in the Greenville area. My husband used to work off of Whitehorse Road so we always had lunch dates there. He left that company about four or five years ago, but we still make it a point to go over to eat here at least once a month. Their prices are still much lower than most restaurants even in 2025 and their food is amazing. My husband worked for a company where he traveled to Mexico quite a bit and he still says this is some of the most authentic tasting Hispanic food he has had in the area.

I had been to the Wade Hampton location multiple times and absolutely loved it, but hadn’t been to this location yet. Absolutely the same quality and delicious food as the first location! My husband had never been and had a suadero taco and the Toluquena Torta (with adobo spicy pork, Mexican sausage and cheese), and I had the California burrito with pork carnitas (without cheese and sour cream for my dairy allergies). Amazing place for lunch or dinner, would highly recommend!!

Your food is made to order. Even when they are busy it doesn’t take long to receive your food. The tacos, burritos and tortas are good! Make sure your hungry if order the tortas because it’s very fulfilling. They also have an open salsa bar. I would recommend this place.

Stopped in here with a friend, the staff was friendly and helpful, they did have a good dessert section, I did get some flan and it was good, the food I got was ok the bottom of the fried tortilla part was really hard and halfway through my meal I found a short hair in my food! I was done, I just can’t, need to wear hairnets at all time when dealing with food, I will not be back

This restaurant was a wonderful place to have mexican food. I love the size of the quesadillas and how reasonably priced this place is. The al pastor meat was delicious. The decorations were also very unique. Definitely recommend this for your next outing.
