Me a different flavor which I then declined because I don’t want any spoiled cake.
That’s no big deal to me, I travel all the time and am used to stuff happening and don’t mind waiting, cold food isn’t even a huge deal. But this order was something. I usually don’t take the time to review unless I really liked the place so they get a positive review. But unfortunately that is not the case with this order. I ordered chicken burrito with grilled veggies, and chips and queso. I took one bite of burrito that was mostly tortilla, then a second and almost spit it out. I opened it up to look at it and I don’t know what happened but it was disgusting, maybe not cooked? Certainly not seasoned… straight to the trash.
As you can tell, I’m not a picky eater so I’m thinking ok, I still have the chips and queso. The chips were very old and stale and the queso had coagulated. The hotel room had a microwave but the queso was in styrofoam. I just ate the gross chips by themselves and that was dinner. I would not recommend this place at all. Like I said the first time I ordered was fine, but the stark contrast of the second order is way too inconsistent for my liking.
Hello,
I am writing to share a very disappointing experience my husband and I had at your restaurant last night.
This was my second time visiting, and I had previously enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the patio and music, which reminded me of a Miami-style vibe. I wanted my husband to experience this as well, as it was his first visit. Although he preferred to take the food to go, I encouraged us to eat inside so he could enjoy the ambiance.
Unfortunately, the experience was ruined due to the behavior of the employee assisting us. When I attempted to order pupusas, I was told they were no longer being made because the restaurant was “about to close,” even though it was not yet 8:00 PM. I then ordered tacos instead, and my husband ordered a carne burrito, which we later realized he was overcharged for.
The employee asked whether we would be eating inside or taking the food to go. I clearly stated we would be eating inside, and she made it seem like this would not be an issue. However, she served the people in front of us never stated they would be the last ones …our food was ready only a few minutes later it was handed to us packaged to go. When I began unwrapping my food to eat inside, the employee stopped me and told me we could not eat because they were closing.
This was extremely frustrating ,humiliating and embarrassing, since she said laid and in front of everyone, especially since we were given the option to dine inside and it was still before closing time. The employee’s attitude was rude and lacked basic courtesy toward paying customers.
This left a very poor impression on my husband during his first visit, and it was not the experience I expected based on my previous visit. I hope this matter is addressed, as customers should not be treated this way—especially when they are told one thing and then stopped from eating their food moments later.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences.
