We decided to soak up the last of the beautiful weather with an outdoor meal at Las Margaritas, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a friendly young man who led us to our table with a smile.
Despite being located right off Detroit Road, the outdoor seating area was surprisingly peaceful. Colorful tables and chairs, umbrellas, and sun sails created a cheerful, shaded space that felt relaxed and welcoming.
We started with peach margaritas and their homemade guacamole with chips. The margaritas were served in classic style with a sugar rim ~ sweet, refreshing, and exactly what you’d hope for in a peach cocktail. The guacamole was beautifully fresh and flavorful, and we’re pretty sure the chips were made in-house. They had that warm, crisp texture you can’t fake.
For entrées, we tried a variety of dishes:
The Arroz con Pollo “ACP“ was rich and satisfying, with melted cheese blanketing tender chicken and rice. A great option for anyone who prefers milder flavors.
The Taco Combination plate came with rice and beans and offered a simple, delicious way to enjoy tacos, hard or soft, your choice.
The Enchiladas Monterey was a standout: one beef, one chicken, one cheese, and one refried bean enchilada, all served with Mexican rice. It was a flavorful sampler that paired beautifully with our margaritas.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. We even chatted with a nearby couple who shared our enthusiasm; they were just as impressed with the food and atmosphere.

Came here for the Taco Tuesday and they have $2 tacos which are shredded beef, shredded chicken, and ground beef. All the tacos are good but the shredded beef is amazing! Very clean atmosphere, fast service, friendly staff! I will be back!!!

Went in for taco Tuesday to try the place out. Definitely won’t be back. The taco specials are a joke. $2 tacos – beef or chicken, with lettuce and cheese. If thats not bad enough, you get maybe a quarter ounce of chicken with them. Also, their salsa tastes straight up like pizza sauce. I can go to any of the other local Mexican restaurant and get more choices of meats and toppings at a much better quality for maybe $1 more per taco. I would choose taco bell over these tacos. Bad experience.

First time here and we stopped in for the Tuesday $2 taco special. The deal comes with a few options — ground beef, shredded beef, or chicken, and you can get them hard or soft shell. I went with shredded beef and chicken on soft tacos. The shredded beef was excellent — super tender and flavorful. The chicken was just okay, so I’d stick with the shredded beef next time.
Our server, Santos G, was a 5/5 — attentive, friendly, and absolutely on top of everything.
The hostess, however, needs some real coaching. No greeting, no “how many in your party,” no acknowledgment when we walked in. And the host stand is the first impression of the restaurant — unfortunately, this was a flop. I’ll still give her a 1/5, because at least she did seat us.
And heads up: it was freezing inside the day I went. I warned you now — I literally kept my jacket on for the entire meal.
Overall, delicious shredded beef tacos and amazing service from Santos, but the front-of-house experience and the temperature need serious attention.

Beautiful inside, service was good, margaritas were amazing, Food was very good! Complaints tamales weren’t available because they were not ready. We went back twice. They do not open on time. We sat in the parking lot and waited once the next two times we did not wait.!! We found a hidden gem after we left there in Avon Commons, our new favorite Mexican restaurant Mezquite !!!! Highly recommend! Clean inside food and portions are amazing. Also great margaritas highly recommend.

We were so hopeful to get the same quality/taste food we ordered the first time we ate here.
I ordered the Aztec Soup again. The first time the picture about 1/2 quart sized bowl, very red, stew like consistency, matched the soup picture to the letter. Today rather looking the same it was totally different in size, presentation and taste. It was presented in a birdbath sized bowl, a light brown liquidy broth with more vegetables than I remember and very close to tasteless, looking nothing like the menu picture.
My wife had the lunch chicken fajitas and was equally disappointed, the salsa was different too.
Where I gave 2 stars was the other diner with us had the quesadilla chipotle. It looked good and he enjoyed it.
They may have lost me.
