I know there’s mixed reviews but I really like this place and at least when I went they did not skimp out on the beef or chicken. Would recommend the chicken quesadilla and beef burritos

It is a beautiful little family owned shop. The chips and salsa are delicious. I definitely recommend the super burrito, while it takes a bit to make it is still worth it.

This place was just ok. I’ve walked by many times and always see it empty I thought I would finally give them a try. The food wasn’t bad nor was it anything amazing. It was just another mediocre Mexican restaurant. It might be a good place for a cubetazo with some friends but for good food I probably would look elsewhere.

I’ve been coming to this spot for years, the food is pretty good average Mexican food. However, I was charged $15 for 2 American Steak tacos. I asked the woman behind the counter how much is 1 taco & she stated $7. I asked her where on the menu does it state this as I’m from the neighborhood & have been buying from here for years & have never ever paid $7 for tacos. She stated she can’t show me because that’s what she’s been told to say then says that u have to add $1 extra for every item on the menu. I’m looking forward to speaking to the owner to explain why is 1 taco $7 when an order of 3 range from $13-$15. This is super ridiculous. Pricing should be reflected on the Menu! Not “what I’ve been told to say”!! Y yo hablo español también.
Reply to owner: yo no puedo responderte, pero para darte los detalles, fue una dominicana que trabajó hoy por las 4pm-5pm. Si los tacos no cuestan $7, ella si me cobró $15 y te puedo poner una foto de la transacción. Cuando estás disponible para ir a el restaurante cuando está ahí para darme una reembolso de lo que cuesta en verdad. Gracias.

The place actually looks pretty and fits the mexican vibes, however the waitress wasn’t very outgoing, very dry, we could of taken our own order in other words. We wanted natual juices (un batido), they didn’t have any. My friend got a piña colada it tasted like ice it only smelled like piña colada we were laughing about that lol, we got a burrito and pechugas a la plancha, the food was regular nothing special or authentic about it. We honestly went in there because we thought it was going to be nice, dejó mucho que desear. Solo bonito el lugar y ya.

I want to make a note of the following experience: I ordered 4 mini tacos with steak and chorizo to go. Despite asking for the meat to be mixed, I had to settle for two of each taco. When I requested a fork and salt to mix the meats myself, I was informed that they were not available. I suspect that they did have these items but chose not to provide them because I was dining out. I would have been willing to return the fork if it was meant for dining in. Having to separate the hot meat by hand while on the go was quite disappointing. Additionally, I requested extra lime and received only two wedges. The food was delicious, but the service left much to be desired in terms of accommodation.

I usually love this place but I have the most issues when ordering through GRUBHUB. My deliveries are never on time and nor is it communicated if they need extra time. I waited an hour for my food and called multiple times to get an update. GRUBHUB customer service had to tell me my meal wasn’t even created. I suggest people to still visit but IN PERSON or do pickup. I wish them the best and hope they can get better with delivery services.

Nice looking space inside, I would think that a place with photos of Pedro Infante would have been better but was very disappointing.
Ordered a burrito plate and a shrimp plate. Beans straight from can,with no care and tasted at least 3 days old sitting out on stove. Large heaps of rice that was so undercooked it was hard and unedible. When we informed the waitress that the rice was not cooked , she smiled and offered no apology, no offer for a new plate, not even one dollar comped from our bill.! They also are playing mostly spanish musica that is not mexican. They should actually play mexican music in a mexican restaurant. I’m Mexican and would never eat here again…
Only thing we liked was the Jamaica and Tamarindo juice. Rest of our experience terrible.

Please be careful on what you order cause it’s not what is on the menu burrito where the Pico the avocado on my grand burrito it just was over loaded with rice and beans and curled vein steak you can chock on it
