I had the michelada damazo, and it was just okay. The glass they used was warm for some reason, and the drink was a bit too sweet for my taste. They do add a lot of cucumber and crab to it tho.
I went with the molcajete cora, and it was just alright taste wise.
I had the deep-fried red snapper.
I plan to order this dish with the hot sauce on the side. I enjoyed it and thought it was delicious after removing most of the sauce.
I ordered the langastinos. The shrimp were old and dry. You wouldn’t think that as this place should always be cooking this type of dish. Also, you can see in one of the pics that many of the shrimp had white on the shell especially around the head.
The sauce was all oily and started to separate as I was eating. I don’t think they used real butter, also all the seasoning must have been dry powders. There were no bits of garlic at all in this dish. I didn’t even want to use the bread to get the extra sauce.
My wife ordered the shrimp cocktail with octopus. It was all cocktail sauce and hardly any shrimp or octopus. There was nothing in the cocktail sauce but a small piece of onion maybe. It was so bland she was looking for salt but there was none on the table.
The server and service was fine, just the food was poor quality and definitely not fresh for a place that specializes in seafood. Last time for me here, big waste of money.
