Family owned and operated for since 2008. Our kitchen is open late till midnight. Our bar is full service with craft margaritas and we cater to all allergies including gluten-free/celiac. Nothing special just regular Mexican food. Coconut Shrimp was one of the best though. The weather was perfect for sitting outside to enjoy the food. Good/descent food and service.

First night in San Diego, we fancied some Mexican food, we tried this little spot based on the positive Google reviews.
We weren’t disappointed, the food was really tasty, comforting and just what we wanted.
Great selection of drinks, although we just opted for a couple of beers.
There was a nice vibe, a good buzz without being too loud. lots of happy diners getting stuck in.
The service was really friendly, from front of house to our server and anyone that passed the table. The service was also super speedy, if anything too quick… we did feel like we were in and out in 30 mins.
We didn’t ever feel rushed… but didn’t really feel like we’d relaxed into the place before we were heading out.
Would still definitely recommend

We had a great Guac and salsa appetizer with Paloma cocktail for starter.
Good service in an upbeat and lively atmosphere. Noise level was less than the bar focused establishments in the same area.
Entrees were, of course, Fish Taco, plus an amazing Enchilada Del Mar that was loaded with large shrimp. The enchilada sauce, jalapeno creme and salsas were all excellent.
Highly recommend this restaurant!

The tacos and drinks did not disappoint. We came back the next day to try even more tacos. We tried the shrimp, chicken, steak, carnitas, and the Cali tacos. The flavor of the different tacos were so good.

Phenomenal! The food hits hard. Drinks are good. we didn’t come out of Peak time… 3 PM. I feel like parking might be an issue at peak times as well as maybe getting in. It’s not a very large restaurant. But it would be worth the wait! I cannot express to you how good the food is! Don’t miss out on the coconut shrimp or guacamole! The coconut shrimp is larger and meater than the picture portrays. The taco in the mahi-mahi taco were great too! We are not local but we WILL be back! Wow!

First time dining based on recommendation. I’m usually a solo diner exploring new places. Elena was totally chill and awesome, pointing out the go-to menu items. Surf and turf burrito was well worth it. Cocktails were great. Immediately forwarded pictures to other friends in isolated states who crave a good burrito when visiting San Diego. $30-50 reflects burrito and 2 drinks.

What was that? If you want to ruin your impression of Mexican food in San Diego, this is the place to go.
At first, everything was fine. The waiter was polite, there weren’t many people, so the drinks were brought quickly, but everything started to go downhill when the waiter brought the food. It was so overcooked that we couldn’t taste anything. When it was time to pay, the waiter asked if we liked everything, to which I replied that the food was overcooked, and the waiter just laughed in my face.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL
The waiter added a 20% tip to the bill without even asking me and stared intently as I paid. It was complete chaos because he was serving another table at the same time, and then he refused to give the bill to me or the other table for a long time, mixing up our bills!!!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! THE FOOD IS VERY HEAVY AND THE WAITERS ARE RUDE.

This bar restaurant has easily become one of my favorite places to hang out. The food is always amazing, but the wings? Next level. I honestly come here just for those—crispy and packed with flavor every single time. On top of that, the drinks are strong and well-made, perfect for unwinding without breaking the bank.
Prices are super affordable, which makes it even easier to keep coming back. And shoutout to Ashley, our server—she took such good care of us, super friendly and attentive. It’s always a good time here. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!
