We’ve driven by this place dozens of times while traveling between Corpus Christi and DFW. This time, we had a campsite just down the street, and decided to give it a go.
Come hungry. The portions were big. My Tampaquena was cooked to perfection. My wife’s Carne Asada was also perfectly cooked. Great spices. Great chips. Dangerous margaritas. The service was excellent and the food arrived fast. We’ll be back.

Our server, Alexi was so friendly and accommodating. I’m pregnant and was craving a dish that they don’t have on the menu and we also didn’t know the name of it either. He asked me to show him on my phone and he took the picture to the kitchen and they made it for me. So grateful! Food was delicious!

You guys are awesome. We come here once a year when we stay at Colorado Landing. Margaritas are awesome!!! I had two. We’ll be back. Shrimp enchiladas were a little over done. Keep perfecting the menu. Charged extra for sour cream with my fajitas…..what’s with that?

This was the first time going, might be the last. I went on a road trip with my family when my mom said this place looked good. When we got there I immediately noticed that the lights there looked bad. It was horrendous. The food was mediocre at best. I ate a Mexican Burger which I now feel like I’m going to thro up. The rest of my family agreed it was bad. The reason I rated this place a two star is because of the service. The service was pretty good and the employees had been really nice.

Never disappoints! Food is hot and fresh and servers are attentive. Super fast food to the table. Try the jumbo margarita if you’re driving – if not – get their Giant Margarita! So good. We try to stop every time we come through town.

My wife and I came here on a Saturday for lunch. There is adequate parking around the rear which is where you will find the main entrance… We enjoyed a taco salad and a combination plate of taco and enchilada. Free chips and salsa including warm queso are provided! Very nice and very tasty! My taco salad was good, as well as my wife’s combo meal. Prices are reasonable, our food and two soft drinks totaled out at just below $30 before tip. It is an extensive facility with lots of seating and a full bar provided for those inclined, as well as dining out doors on the front porch patio. If you happen to be in LaGrange and seek some Mexican Cuisine, this is a good spot to try. Also, curbside pickup is available.

The ambiance was good. We ordered the fajita and chicken, the quail plate, and the chimichanga. The fajitas were very tender with a good season mix. The quail was to my mother’s liking and she is very hard to please. The chimichanga was good but I would have preferred the tortilla to be deep fried so that it wouldn’t get to soggy. The only thing lacking is fresh homemade tortillas that is the reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The restaurant is very clean and they have excellent customer service especially their waiters. Thank you all. When we travel again we are definitely stopping by again.

Driven by this place a 100 times, finally stopped and am glad I did. Huge portions, cold plates with tacos, chalupas, typical Mexican fare but oh so fresh and good recipes! Great service, very attentive but non-intrusive.
