Just moved to ER a couple weeks ago and finally tried Las Flores. They came highly recommend, and did not disappoint! For an app we had chips and salsa plus queso. I had the carne asada taco dinner special, husband had the fajita burrito, son had the Taco Bowl and daughter had the nuggets. All were delicious and portioned well. My 8 year old said ‘if Gordon Ramsay was to come here and have this taco salad he would rate it 100%’. Loved the atmosphere and decor, and our server was absolutely fantastic. Only thing that they could do better is add my beloved Chile Rellanos to the menu lol. We’ll definitely be back.

Best Taco’s in the state of Michigan outside of Southwest Detroit. Took the back roads across the state and came across this place out of pure luck. Don’t know if I’ll ever be back to Eaton Rapids but if I am anywhere near, this place is a must visit.

This place is delicious! Everything we had was hot and full of flavor. The small burrito was still pretty good size. The people there are very friendly. The guy even gave me an extra side of the hot salsa as I was walking out because I told him it was really good. Very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be coming back! I can’t wait to try the breakfast burrito!

Having recently relocated to the East Rochester area, we were eager to find a reliable, high-quality Mexican dining establishment, and Las Flores, thanks to numerous local recommendations, was our first choice. It immediately exceeded expectations and has been firmly established as our new neighborhood staple.

Proven Quality Across the Menu

The quality of the foundational dishes, like the chips, salsa, and rich queso, immediately set a high bar for the meal. For the main courses, the menu successfully caters to both traditional and family tastes. The Carne Asada Taco Dinner Special was perfectly executed and flavorful, while the Fajita Burrito was filling and excellent.

Crucially, the restaurant passes the family test with flying colors. The children’s options, including the Taco Bowl and nuggets, were exceptionally well-received. In fact, our eight-year-old gave the taco bowl the highest possible endorsement, claiming “if Gordon Ramsay was to come here… he would rate it 100%.” High praise indeed for the quality and flavor delivery.

Ambiance and Service Excellence

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is a genuine selling point. The decor is authentic and inviting, contributing to a fantastic dining vibe. Our server was nothing short of absolutely fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming.

Our only minor suggestion is the addition of classic Chile Rellenos to the menu, a beloved item we hope to see featured someday. Regardless, the overall experience—from the food to the service—was exceptional. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Las Flores to both new and long-time locals.

First time I have been there and food was great! Service was great- staff were professional and courteous. The location is also nice, however I thought the music playing was loud.
If you like authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Don’t expect an American spin.

Wow! Fabulous food, artistically presented, and incredibly budget friendly. Understated but congenial atmosphere… definitely worth the drive from Lansing, Jackson, or Stockbridge.

This is a loveley family owned business that delivers wonderful customer service with delicious food. There is parking right outside the restaurant which is located in downtown Eaton Rapids. I personally love the carnitas tacos in a corn tortilla with cilantro and onions. They also do carry out orders.

If you can’t fry a tortilla you probably shouldn’t have a Mexican restaurant. The consume and everything else had very little flavor. The portion size on the side of beans was very small, basically a dollop. I spent over $20.00 on 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans. Also the rice and beans were cold.I found everything about it regrettable. Nobody wants a soggy tortilla and cold rice and beans. I won’t be going back.

I typically order lunch here every other week. Sometimes the rice is really good and sometimes it’s soft and like mush. Please don’t use old gross rice! Other than that I love the chicken tacos!

Small town vibes, big time flavor. Highly recommend the birria tacos, enchiladas, the churros, and the flan. The hot sauce will sneak up on you, so beware. 🙂 Good prices for the food! Worth the drive if you’re coming from Lansing, Mason, Holt, Charlotte, or the surrounding area.
