This is a cute little mexican ice cream and quick-bite shop. My husband and I have been there several times for things like tamales, tacos, ice cream, mangonada, paletas, and more. If you’re expecting a full blown Mexican sit down meal this isn’t the place – but if you’re expecting a quick-bite type food like street tacos and elote then this is your place. Also, it is clean and you have room to eat your food in if you prefer!

Entered the restaurant and immediately saw a difference from your normal Mexican restaurant. Space being the first. The entire room about the size you’d expect from an ice cream store. Wait, this IS an ice cream store as well, so maybe it’s a moot point. Just an observation.
The menus are on big screen t.v.’s so everything is clear and easy to read.
The selections are few but delicious I’m sure. I ordered the burrito and a can of soda.
The food was delivered to my table in a take out bag and wrapped in aluminum. I mentioned that I wanted it for here (hoping for a plate and silverware) and the gentlemen said that is how they are served. Okay. Good to know. I also asked if they provided chips and salsa? He said they do not. Okay at this point I’m wondering…do I smell? Is this my hint to hit the bricks with my sack of food and come back when I discover deodorant?lol
Ok, so I try the meal, Mexican music in the background, and it’s okay. A bit bland but not horrible. I had hoped it was going to pop and make me see the restaurant in a whole new different light, as it happens sometimes, but it was a slight disappointment.
The place is clean, the staff friendly and the food okay. The price? Meh. For that price I’d expect a few more amenities. (That’s why I don’t like tipping when I pay because I regretted the tip I prepaid) I ended up paying roughly $17 for a single burrito and a 12 ounce diet Pepsi. Again, wouldn’t mind paying that if we’re warranted.
I do wish them well, and hope the community supports them!
P.S. I edited the hours because they were wrong on Google Maps. It said they were closed when they were clearly opened. New hours are 11am to 9pm EVERYDAY! I made sure to clarify that with the gentlemen behind the counter.

The food was pretty good it took awhile for me to order and then quite a bit to get my food.. they seem nice but there is not alot of tables to eat at. And it’s to me a little pricey for Mexican food that’s not at a “restaurant ” no chips and salsa 3 bucks for a Pepsi 12 dollars for a burrito.. 18+ after tip. I eat at a lot of places all over.. I don’t mind sometimes paying a little more but this for me just seemed steep with the service and portion.

Tried this business as our local place for the week. My husband wanted a quick snack as he was out running errands and saw this place was open. Wanted to give it a try. He ordered the street tacos for himself and 3 chicken tamales for me. We did not try the treat side of the menu.

He took our order to go. The restaurant was not busy at all during the afternoon. It felt just like a pop up food truck. Limited menu items. Little English. The street tacos were ok, My tamales completely fell apart when opening. Very bland and mooshy. We’ve had better. We’ve had worse. It’s a solid 3 for me.

Just didn’t have a comfortable vibe inside. Felt like a kiosk or food cart. Maybe in the future, they will get it straightened out.

Probably the one and only place you should go for dessert, even if that seasonal Dairy Queen was open. On top of dessert, this place sells great food.

Can’t go wrong with the Elote and steak street tacos. The Elote is freshly cut off the cob, very fresh and delicious. The steak street tacos are jammed full of ingredients. They give you two sauces, both are great. One is a red sauce, the green sauce I think maybe creamy jalapeno maybe with avocado, not sure about last part. Both are delicious.

Then there is the ice cream. The Marias are excellent. Three scoops of ice cream, you choice of flavors. They have a variety of flavors, all are good. Chocolate syrup or Mexican Carmel. I should not be getting the Marias but they’re delicious.

The restaurant does have Mexican banda music playing. Reminds me of my time in Mexico. The couple that run the restaurant are very friendly and nice. You can’t go wrong eating here. Nice quiet place to take a date.

Wow! Great quality service and food. The Oreo flavor is my all time favorite ice cream and paleta. I also love to order a Thai bubble tea with tapioca pearls, 10/10 flavor and authenticity.
