I saw this place reccomend on Facebook and wanted to give it a try. I promise you, I was super excited to try this place! The line was pretty long at 830am and I waited regardless. The staff was great! I couldn’t wait to try everything I bought. I bought tamales, menudo, tortillas de harina and maiz. I got 2 of each tamales-pollo, rajas, and puerco. I got home and was starving. The food was so disappointing. I seriously wanted to like this place so bad. I love tamales, I seriously could eat them year round but this place was seriously disgusting. I did not like NOTHING except the tortillas de harina. I sadly will not return. I don’t know how so many people reccomend this place and how much people stand in line for this place that lacks flavor. The tamales were all raw, I hate to leave this review because it has so many great reviews but I promise you these reviews DO NOT LIVE UP TO THE HYPE.

I personally love this place! Menudo is good but a little pricey. I really like the tamales but different people have different palates. My favorite is the carnita burrito! They don’t hold out on the meat and it keeps you full. The masa is flavorful and reasonably priced, we come every year around Christmas time to get our batch.

I tried it for the 1st time, not impressed. Tamales were to dry, menudo has too much hominy not alot of meat and they don’t give you tortillas with the menudo. The only thing I liked were the flour tortillas. That I will buy , nothing else to over rated .

Wow, this place is delicious! My husband loves the menudo and homemade tortillas, i usually get the bean and cheese burrito. The B&C is loaded with cheese and chopped jalapeños that give it a kick. The tamales are excellent as well!

I go here at 6am and get a carnitas burrito. They have great food. The best menu item is the cheese tamales. I’ve never tasted tamales that are so good. I take some home at the end of the day for breakfast the next day for the family.

I thought it was an actual restaurant but it’s not! It’s super small! There’s not much to choose from the menu! Very disappointed!
