First time here, beautiful huge clean brand new building! Great atmosphere, huge patio and outdoors space. Sat at bar, bartender was attentive and wonderful. Came for taco Tuesdays and it didn’t disappoint at all! Super yummy! Great margaritas and food!

New resteraunt has a great outdoor are that’s perfect for larger groups. Especially nice for little kids. Great guacamole and cheese dip. Everyone loved the Carne assada. The brisket is terrible (dry and chopped). You slice brisket. Nobody ate the yellow rice and beans were OK. The Brussels sprouts are excellent.

Great place! I’ve been here twice so far. First off, their free chips and salsa are excellent. Their “Guacamole” is creamy and delicious! Loved my “Taco Salad Bowl” with smoked chicken. Amazing smoked chicken flavor! Also had the “Smothered Burrito with Chorizo”. Soo good. Spacious place with an outside play area for kids. Good service too

I wanted to give this place a try by ordering food through DoorDash when not feeling well. For the cost, we were severely underwhelmed. We ordered a fajita meal, a burger meal, and a few orders of churros. Everything was packaged very well, but the meals were just overall, okay. I will add that the cook on the shrimp was perfection. The churros….. should have never been sent out to a paying customer, especially at the cost this restaurant charges for churros, a relatively simple product. Overcooked and doused with an unusual amount of cinnamon. If the overcooking didn’t make them not edible, the amount of cinnamon did. The primary reason I ordered from this place was because I was looking for a restaurant on DoorDash that offered churros on the menu. I understand off days, but I reiterate, this was a product that should have never went out to a customer. If the churros are always this way, then yikes!

Came here with my family over the weekend. Here are the pros:

Our small children had an excellent time. The outdoor area is shaded, turfed, fenced in, and they have chalk for the kiddos to use. They loved it, and as a parent it was nice to let them run around. There were a fair amount of other kids there as well.

The atmosphere was pretty nice. It was a clean environment, looks like new construction, plenty of tv’s which was nice bc I could peep at the football game.

The appetizers were pretty good. We got the smoked wings (buffalo) and queso dip. The wings were good. They dip was pretty good.

The entire staff was really nice. Our server was pretty attentive.

Unfortunately, the one con is a pretty big deal for a restaurant:

Two of the three adult entrees were borderline inedible. We got two orders of enchiladas and one order of fajitas. My wife thought the fajitas were poor but not the end of the world. The enchiladas, on the other hand, were just really bad. They were dry, which is really odd since I usually expect enchiladas to be basically smothered, but I can get around that. The flavor though was something else. I hope the cooks had an accident because the flavor was so salty and so limey. It really tasted like someone had poured a cup of salt on it, and then squeezed a bottle of grocery store lime juice in a bottle on it. Those were the flavors, nothing else. I took three bites, one of each enchilada, and then tapped out.

The next day I tried one of the kids tacos (we had boxed those up to go as our kids seemed to like them enough). After I reheated it there was a large trail of grease on the plate. Don’t love that as we tried to order the healthiest thing for them on the menu (a grilled chicken soft taco). I know it’s a Tex Mex restaurant so it sounds ridiculous to be complaining about health, but still.

To be fair, the manager did come out and ask us how our meal was, and then when we expressed our displeasure he did say he would talk to the kitchen. After that our server told us she would comp our enchiladas as we weren’t satisfied with them. So that lessened the blow since the prices are pretty high compared to your average Tex Mex joint. The price for a small cup of queso, 6 wings, 3 entrees, two kids meals, one beer and one margarita was going to be roughly $140 before tax and tip. It ended up being around $100 with the two comped entrees.

We really wanted to like this place and were quite excited for it. The food was just really subpar, so much so that it negated the rest of the positives of our experience. I wish I had a better review.

Won’t be back.
I’ve been wanting to try this place. It was in the Clipper magazine I received today- $30 for 15 so I got it. Went there for dinner with my teenage daughter.

Ordered large queso. It’s somewhere between a white and yellow queso. Nothing special. Shoulda got the small.
There was something in it I asked the waitress about. She took it away, came back to say it was part of a stem from a jalapeño. Ok. Never had that before.

Entrees came out fast. 5 minutes fast.

Ordered the wrong thing- fish tacos. It was red snapper.
First bite and it was pink in the middle. The other bite was ok but showed the waitress and asked if it was ok to just switch to a ground meat taco.
I was turned off by the fish. How can you go wrong with ground meat at a Mexican restaurant?

Ground meat taco was bland. Super greasy. Look at the pic of the grease on my plate that dripped off the taco.
Wish I woulda taken pics of the queso and pink fish now…

Cadillac margarita was pretty decent.
Our waitress kept saying she was new but was good/attentive.
Didn’t have a manager or anyone else come by.

Won’t be back

Edit: owner responded. Blood line? No. The fish was pink as in raw

Food was good, except for the chorizo that was for the queso. Whatever it was that they called chorizo reminded me of grade school cafeteria meat. Atmosphere is great since you can bring the kids and they can run around. Drinks were great.
Now for the bad: the service. Our server made it painfully obvious they didn’t want to be there and dare I say that they maybe wished we weren’t either. Our server seemed to be very pushy in getting us to order drinks before our friends even arrived. Then when they did arrive, I was ignored when it was time to order drinks and starters. Finally, after paying for the meal, we were chatting with our friends, playing with the kids etc., and our server was cleaning up the table including plates that still had food on them along with slamming and clanking plates together loudly. Never once were we asked for to-go boxes. Did I forget to mention gratuity was included due to the restaurant’s large party policy (despite the fact there were only 4 adults and the rest of the large party were small children that were absent from the table the entire time)?
Our friends complained to the “staff”, and the only meaningful response they got was if they could help us with anything else.
Los Cruces; more like Los’ a hundred dollars. AVOID

Went In Wednesday evening, it was extremely busy, but service was still fast even with a ton of people coming in at once. Food was all really good, portions was just what you would expect for a place like this. I loved the atmosphere. Jackie was amazing!!! Ive been before when they had a different manager and now that- Blake I believe his name was – is there it seems the place is running much smoother. I noticed some changes in staff morale as well. Servers seem happier to be at work! Also now that the weather is better ask to be sat outside if possible, it is sooo nice out there!!
