I have know of Los Costas Nayaritas since they first open the location in Lawrenceville near Sugarloaf Pkwy. I’ve always dreamed of going. I went today and it was exactly what I dreamed. The waitress Gloria made it feel like home. The food was amazing I had 7 Mares soap. And a pomegranate margarita with tejun around the rim. We also received a Free appetizer of ceviche. Thank you all for you wonderful service.

Came here with my family. It smelled like urine once we were seated. The waitress was attentive and very nice. We ordered a dozen of oysters. They were very fresh and refreshing. I ordered “Camarones Momias” the shrimp was over cooked resulting in a very tough shrimp but the bacon was crispy. The plate had a lot for the price so that was nice. They had a live mariachi band but we were seated near a speaker that was playing loud music. With both being loud I was feeling over stimulated and it was hard to talk to my family being when we were sitting next to each other.

I’ve been to places where mariachi plays, the food is good, and service is good. But this place is on a whole different level. The food here is delicious, nothing bad on any plate, the drinks are amazing, there’s live music, and everything came out in a very timely manner. Adriana, our server, was wonderful. She treated us very well and made sure at the end we were satisfied, which without a doubt we were. This is as good as it gets.

First time visiting. We ordered the margaritas and they were very sweet and you can barely taste the alcohol. Normally when we go to Mexican Restaurants they automatically bring out chips and salsa, however at this location I had to ask for some and it tasted like it came from a can of tomatoes, it wasn’t good and did not taste authentic. As you can also see we only took a sip of our margarita and wanted to return it and was told that everything was final sale, so based on that we decided not to order any food because we didn’t want to be stuck with paying for food that we were not satisfied with or hardly even ate. The manager finally came out and took care of us by taking it off our bill. He explained that this is more of a seafood restaurant than it is a Mexican restaurant, so if you’re looking for more of Mexican food, this is not the place!

I’m not sure if they have a new chef or new management, but the food downgraded tremendously in quality over the past month or so. I ordered a steak fajita and they do NOT taste the same. The portion is a very thin and small piece of steak, very rubbery. either the chef is new or they changed their ingredients. This place was phenomenal. This was a weekend treat but now I fear I’m going to stop coming here.

Tatiana provided outstanding bartender service. She was professional, attentive, and clearly experienced. Drinks were made quickly and correctly, with excellent balance and presentation. The margaritas were fresh and she made food recommendations based on what we like. We highly recommend!
