I had a wonderful experience at Las Cazuelas as usual. One of my favorite places to eat good food and drink good reasonably priced margaritas! On the east side of town on Cesar Chaves about five blocks from downtown 6th Street! Open late with good food friendly service and outstanding atmosphere with very reasonable prices. The breakfast tacos I eat which is bacon egg and cheese or in other words… Tocino Huevos and Queso is twice as big as most places are and absolutely scrumptious. They make authentic Mexican food here. The owner is usually in the restaurant in the evenings, very pleasant place to dine or drink after hours or anytime of day and night. You don’t want to miss the five-dollar Margarita will knock their socks off and their food is amazing! Much props and appreciation for what they do here at Las Cazuelas on East Cesar Chavez in Austin Texas!

The food is amazing. Very authentic in my opinion. Had some simple tacos this time (first time) around, Beef Fajita, Chicharron & Tripas. Each one delicious and favorable, I just had to order some to go. They have great deals too. Tortillas seem store bought but everything else was great Just found my new favorite mexican restaurant in Austin. Service was nice, just too many awkward moments shared. I can’t understand why this place isn’t slammed packed. May they have great success for years to come.

Me and my friends having been going here for almost two years, the food is amazing I recommend the flautas tampico very underrated but amazing!! The staff is so friendly feels like a family here, definitely a comfort place. The community is just as great as the food and drinks!

What a gem of a Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were beyond generous. We ordered the fajitas for two, and it easily fed four of us—with everyone leaving full and happy. The flavors were spot on, the presentation was great, and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff was perfect—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Austin. Their dinner special is one of the best deals in the city and everything on the menu is fire, they don’t miss. The margaritas are elite too and cheap. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money anywhere else

Was visiting this city. We Stopped to pump gas and saw this spot next to it. We decided to try it out since it was a mexican restaurant. The place inside is very outdated. Customer service was eh okay. The food was not so great. The salsa that came with chips was very watery. I ordered enchiladas suizas and they were good, rice was dry & beans tasted weird. My partner got fajita tacos, the tortillas tasted raw, chicken had no flavor. Mimosas were good tho. Bill was about 50 bucks. I dont think i would come back to this place.

I came here to get some tacos with a co-worker of mine and the tacos were delicious but the best part was thegreen salsa! By far THE BEST green salsa I’ve ever had omg. I will definitely be back.
I also like how when you go here for breakfast they have the tacos in a warmer ready to grab, pay and go. We were in and out within 2 minutes; super quick to pick up breakfast

March update- Visited Austin with my family and decided to bring them here, it was disappointing that they turned us away because they were only accepting cash (we don’t ever carry cash). Call ahead and save yourself a trip.
Previous review- We were heading to another breakfast restaurant when we saw this one. We turned around and decided to go in. We loved it! The food is delicious and authentic Mexican. Service was a little rough and waitress was a little rude, but she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant and it seemed understaffed, so I guess it’s understandable. I would definitely go back!
