We ate at Las Casitas three times on our latest trip to the Marriott Puerto Vallarta because it quickly became our go-to spot. The views are incredible, and the food was consistently great. Julio was fantastic…. friendly, attentive, and truly made our earlier visits enjoyable.

Across our visits, we tried a wide range of dishes from nachos, salads, tacos, pasta, seafood, and even the steak, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. We even ended our last night with dessert.

We rated the experience 4 stars because the service on our final night fell short. We felt a bit forgotten, tables around us turned over completely, and it took a very long time to get the bill. It didn’t ruin the meal, but it stood out on our final night compared to our earlier visits.

One note for travelers: if your room isn’t ready yet, you won’t be able to charge to your room. We had to pay by credit card while waiting two hours for check-in, which wasn’t ideal when you’re tired and hungry.

Overall, Las Casitas is still a wonderful spot with great food and unbeatable views. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Puerto Vallarta.

Note: We visited the week before Thanksgiving, right after the reopened. We never made reservations but can see the need during high season.

Great spot by the ocean! Staff were top shelf. Food was good but small portions.

Our favorite restaurant at the Marriott! Incredible elevated Mexican cuisine. We came back twice and had the smoked sea bass ceviche, fried goat cheese salad, coconut shrimp, volcano chocolate cake, and passion fruit mousse! The service was amazing. Ernesto is so nice and funny and attentive! Plus we enjoyed the ocean views and good music. Highly recommended when staying at Marriott.

This restaurant is located inside the Marriott Resort. We have been there a few times and it has never disappointed us. The food is delicious, the presentation is great, and the staff are attentive and cheerful. What more could you ask for? Plus, there’s no better way to conclude the day by having a wonderful dinner while watching the sunset.

Great service by Ismael, sign happy birthday to my wife with other staff too.

Some food were good, especially the shrimp bisque, I will go back for another one before we leave. Other food are not bad, overall good quality

The food was okay. Didn’t have much flavor/taste. Could be good with a fair amount of spice. The service and atmosphere though was beautiful. You have to call and reserve. The sunset was mesmerizing.

Awesome location, specially if you arrive for dinner around sunset. Ismael was very attentive. The bread was delicious! I had the Catch of the Day prepared with corn risotto and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken. Dessert: churros with ice cream. I would definitely return.

Great food that services the marriot pool area. We sat down for breakfast but ordered food to the pool every day. The view of the ocean from our table was excellent. We have ordered many dishes but for breakfast:

1. Chipotle Eggs Benedict – their execution of this dish was great. It also had a balanced flavor profile with each ingredient adding to the complexity of the bite. (4.5/5 )

2. Huevos Ranchero – this is not the official name but will edit once confirmed. This dish had great flavors. The eggs were overcooked, and now I wish I had ordered poached instead of fried. (4/5 )

3. ☕️- very good. (5/5 )

We eat here often during our pool days, and the ceviche, cocktail, chicken quesadilla, guacamole, and more are all delicious.

What an incredible dining experience. The place has an open wall structure, so you are constantly feeling the ocean breeze. I believe this enhances the already delicious food flavors and highly recommend this during your stay. We ended up dining in one evening and ordering take out to our room another. I noticed the staff bringing food orders directly to your chair at the pool as well.

First, a quick shout out to our awesome server, Ismael! His service on both visits was nothing short of outstanding. He paced our orders perfectly, anticipated our needs before we could even ask, and surprised us with a complimentary *Happy Journey* dessert from the Chef on our last night. Each drink and food item was excellent – I highly recommend the Cream of Shrimp soup (Crema de Camarones), if you like that sort of dish.

I also highly recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday nights, as it is a super popular spot to enjoy the ocean breeze AFTER the sunset (because they do not open until 6:30pm). That’s a real smart move on the part of management – you should be enjoying the sunset on the actual beach, anyways, which is a short walk down some steps and a path 😉

NOTE: The prices, per person, are in Mexican Pesos . . . *NOT* U.S. Dollars.
