We came here around midnight on a Friday night after a long flight, and the place was in full party mode loud music, karaoke, dancing kinda like a club/bar feel. If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy night out, this is definitely your spot. If you’re trying to sit and catch up with friends, at least on a Friday night, this probably isn’t the place the music was very loud for the size of the space, and we couldn’t hear each other.
That said, the food was excellent. We ordered the las carnitas tacos and they were flavorful, well-portioned, and absolutely worth it. I also ordered an horchata that ended up being one of the best I’ve had.
Service-wise, although everyone was nice we did run into a few things that didn’t ruin our night, but are worth mentioning as a heads-up:
• A margarita came with salt instead of sugar on the rim
• Two different empanadas were ordered, but they came out together and seemed to be the same, so someone didn’t get what they expected
• The food took 45 minutes to an hour to come out, even though it didn’t seem very busy
• My horchata was forgotten at first and came out after the meal after reminding the waitress about and hour later. She did apologize for forgetting.
We honestly weren’t upset we were just vibing and going with the flow but I can definitely see how someone else might be frustrated by the wait and mix-ups.
Overall, I’d give this 3 stars. I’d come back if I was in the mood for a fun, party-style night, and I’d absolutely order takeout because the food itself is that good. If you’re looking for a chill dinner and conversation, I’d probably save this spot for another night. It’s also possible this was just a typical Friday night vibe and not necessarily the vibe all the time.

A real diamond in the rough…. I always passed by here and today I needed a coffee. Wow what a fantastic place so full of life and wonderful staff… I definitely will be back for breakfast or lunch. Today it was just coffee..

Never again! Ever! $20 soup and I got straight broth and a BONE. That’s it. Skimpy bowls, sketchy staff and not worth the money. They should be ashamed of themselves for such terrible portions and outrageous prices.
