We were hesitant to go in because of the mixed reviews. But I sure am glad we did. I don’t know what the hell’s wrong with you people. This is a solid Mexican restaurant with very good food and excellent service. The portions are perfect. And the prices are reasonable.

Their Nachos are the best! It’s hard to order anything else, but they do have an amazing crunchy chicken taco, the big ole quesadilla with bacon, chopped tomatoes the size of a dinner plate, topped with guacamole. Their beans are delicious, and if you want to sit cozy in a booth under a dim lit room, this is your place. They have a bar serving their specialty margaritas. Attentive staff, and been in business for over 50 years. A neighborhood pillar.

This place feels as though one is actually dining in Mexico. If you’ve eaten in more than a few restaurants in Mexico and then eat here, you’ll know what I mean. The menu is not extensive. I’ve now had the beef chimichanga, beef burrito and beef enchiladas and all rock! Service is first rate. Parking is free and out back. The decorating is fun to see. Highly recommend.

Service could be improved. The food itself tasted okay – the meat was dry and did not have much flavor. The chips were nice and crunchy however, and the salsa was good and spicy.

They have the incorrect menu prices online and it’s nearly double in store. I ordered over the phone expecting to pay one price and got to the restaurant they said “too bad” that the menu online wasn’t accurate.

I really liked what I ordered! The restaurant had a very cozy homey atmosphere. The food was very good, a little different but good! My favorite was the chips and salsa. I would give this restaurant a 10/10. I don’t have any photos as I was in a rush to eat my food that day. It was my first time eating at this restaurant, but I really liked it.
