Chef Andrea was a pleasure to work with! We ordered our wedding cake and pastries and everything was absolutely delicious! We had many guests compliment the cake and still rave about it today. Working with Andrea was an absolute joy. He created our traditional Italian millefoglie wedding cake as a live show, and it was such a special highlight of the day. Watching him assemble it in front of our guests was amazing — and it tasted even better than it looked! Our guests are still talking about it. I ordered my daughter’s baby shower cake from L’Arte. The process is strange at best. First I met with Regina ( appointment made) in person. On her computer, a pink cake
( pink as opposed to a hot pink) was shown to me with pink rosettes all along the sides of the cake. I selected that color and design and she started the order and attached the photos of the pink color along with the pink rosettes totally covering the sides of the cake. I had questions as to whether they could do a fondant baby on top and the price of the cake but she said I’d have to wait until I heard from the baker. A flurry of emails then went back and forth since that’s how this place communicates . I was told they couldn’t do the fondant baby so I ordered it myself through Etsy. I requested a call from the Baker since the numerous emails back and forth were super annoying. I spoke with Andrea and since the theme was “A Little Sweetie is on the Way”, I wanted some sweets on the top of the cake as well. He said he could bake mini cookies and add them which I happily agreed to. When the cake was delivered to the venue, I initially thought they put the fondant baby on the wrong cake. The cake was a slight off white/cream color. Not pink at all! There were no rosettes on the sides. There were no mini cookies on the cake! At first, I couldn’t even find the theme writing, A little Sweetie is on the Way, since the writing was white on an off white cake. The only pink on the cake was my fondant pieces. After the shower , I emailed the baker who admitted the cookies were baked but never put on the cake. I then spoke to Regina on the phone and told her what happened. She said she had to talk to the owners ( even though she is an owner too!!)
She returned my call stating that the color of the cake was pink ( it clearly wasn’t, she must be colorblind) and could not give a reasonable explanation on how the cake was missing the pink rosettes/the pink icing/the mini cookies and why the saying was not readable. I asked for compensation on the cake disaster and was offered a $20 gift card. Did I mention I ordered a second cake from them to feed all the shower guests along with the main cake? Totally disappointed and the $20 gift card offer did not commensurate to the cake that was made. I declined the offer and will never step foot into that establishment again. Regina also got very snarky when I told her that her that her gift card offer seemed very unreasonable to make up for the multiple cake mistakes. I am attaching pics of the cake and I do believe that their back and forth emailing procedure is partly to blame for the cake looking nothing like it was supposed to look like. Too many hands/people involved in the process makes it easy to drop the ball. When I dropped off the fondant, I asked Andrea if he was going to do my cake and he said yes but it was passed off to another decorator. Such a disaster all around.

We got a cake from L’Arte for our wedding. It was so delicious (the unanimous favorite at our tasting) and several guests told us it was the best cake they had ever eaten. Could not recommend more! The tasting was also fun and easy to set up.

For my daughter’s fresh off the market Italian themed bridal shower, we catered some breakfast foods from L’Arte (pizzette, cornetti, bigne salati and fancy personalized cookies). They blew us away with the food, the service and the quality. We were transported right back to a cafe in Italy, sipping on espresso and enjoying a cornetti al cioccolato. The food was so beautiful and came packaged in strong decorative boxes, I cannot thank you enough for the care and great job that you guys did. The personalized cookies were exactly what we were looking for, everyone was impressed with them! My son and I visited this amazing cafe in the fall of 2023, and I’ve wanted to come back ever since. Usually everything is closed in Ramsey on Sundays, but what an incredible stroke of luck for us that this cafe was open on Easter Sunday! I ordered their “Egg in the Basket” while my husband ordered fried egg on a brioche, with coffee and Earl Grey tea for accompaniment. The Egg in the Basket was so skilfully cooked that at first my husband had trouble believing there was an egg inside what looked like a nicely toasted piece of bread :-). When I bit into it, the yoke ran out – what perfection! I love soft cooked eggs! While our breakfast was being prepared in the kitchen, I scanned their massive selection of desserts and decided on two items: Treccina Crema e Noci and Tartufo el Cioccolato. They were both delightful but the chocolate cream puff was definitely the champion! Even though there was a sign “No Table Service Today” – everything was handed out in take-out boxes – the waiting staff still brought our coffee and tea to the table, and later on gave us metal utensils. Although it was quite busy, the customers always received immediate attention from the little battalion of staff behind the counter. We will definitely come back to try more items, and pack home some of their bread too!

Oh my god what a cake! If you even care about your wedding cake at all, make sure you get it from L’Arte della Pasticceria. The cake was absolutely divine! We got the Pistachio flavor wedding cake and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Pastry Chef Andrea clearly loves what he does and it comes through not only in the cake, but in every conversation we had with him. Our guests were busy dancing when we cut the cake but word quickly got around the reception and people were getting their slice of cake to eat before returning to the dance floor. Guests talked about how good our cake was for days after!
