So it was again our first time to a place in town while we are visiting some friends. From the outside you can smell the BBQ and what a great smell. Walk in side and it is nothing fancy but they have a good menu and the food is a lot. I had a bbq pork sandwich and it was not bad not great but good. I also had one of the BBQ potatoes with meat on it. It would have been great if it was cooked all the way. My friend had a burger which he loved and my wife a burger as well. Not a bad spot not sure if we would go again but not much to eat in these towns and it is better the the hook BBQ in Enterprise. Give it a try if your in town

Larry’s BBQ will steal your money and not give you what you paid for. I oder the same thing every time I go. A jumbo pork sandwich with a DOUBLE order of fries on the side. Each and every time I go lately the double order gets smaller and smaller. Today is the last day. In my picture the left is my “double” order of fries while the right is a single order I then placed after my food came out for comparison. As you see my single order has more than my supposed double order. I am done with Larry’s.

This pains me because Larry’s has been one of my favorite places ever. This visit to the Daleville restaurant was very disappointing. The ribs were like rubber. 100% inedible. My wife and I had the same meal a few weeks ago at the Enterprise restaurant and they were spectacular. Service was a little disappointing too.. the cashier asked how the meal was and before I could finish my sentence she asked if the ribs were dry. They obviously know something is wrong there. She apologized while happily taking my $25. Go to Enterprise to eat.. avoid this place or you’ll regret going there.

Only giving them a 1 star cause of the waitresses! The cooks never get my order right! I ordered chicken fingers dipped in buffalo sauce and I get over cooked chicken fingers with a small container of buffalo sauce not even on it gross and soggy fries! Not the first time they have messed up mymy ord! Been going to that restaurant for 16 years time to move on to people who care about their customers!

We stopped for lunch after we visited the Aviation Museum at Ft Rucker today. When we arrived, we were told to sit anywhere. We stopped because they had a sign, Salad Bar. When our server arrived, we asked for the salad bar. She told us they have not had a salad bar in two years. We also had our grandkids with us and asked for kid’s menus. She told us they only had hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and corn dogs. My granddaughter said she wanted ribs. The only beef ribs they had for her were 16.00, and they had nothing BBQ for children. My granddaughter told her, why would anyone come to a BBQ restaurant if they could not get barbeque. Our server said all they had were corn dogs, hamburgers, and chicken nuggets for children. I felt this is something you get anywhere else except a BBQ restaurant. She wanted ribs, and the only way she could get them was in the adult menu. Once she ordered, the sever said, are you sure you want that it is a really big portion. We finished our order. I ordered the BBQ beef lunch special with a side salad and fried okra.
Our server brought out our drinks. She then came right back with our starters and salads. Our meals were actually on the same tray. My grandson had ordered the hamburger and said there is nothing on it. It was a cold burger patty on a warm bun. His fries were hot, so he ate them first. Our side salads were not that great; they were shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and diced tomatoes. Because our food arrived at the same time as our salad and our starters, our meals were cold when we finished the salads. We did not eat our starters. The sliced BBQ beef was not that great, and the BBQ sauces on the table were nothing special. The okra was the only good thing. My granddaughter’s ribs plate had five small dry ribs, and I still questioned the server if the tiny ribs were beef. She said they were beef. My granddaughter struggled to get the dry meat off the bones. She said her macaroni n cheese was good. My granddaughter said, I have had ribs before, and these little things are not ribs. I was very disappointed with the meal from start to finish. Our entire order came out just after our drinks. The food was expensive, and the value and quality were poor. The food was mostly tasteless.
Larry’s BBQ was the disappointment of our day, and no one ever wants to go back.

The (shaved) smoked turkey tasted like it came from a Wal-Mart deli. I prefer thicker sliced turkey off the bone. The ribs were not very tender, the veggies tasted canned without much seasoning and the mac n cheese was bland. The bread was great!

I don’t live near but hubby remembered as a local spot from a few years back. It was good; not great. Pricing was average. I did not care for baked beans – maybe just my own tastebuds… when we’re back near the base, I don’t plan on a return visit.

First thing I encountered as I walked through the door was the manager arguing with employees loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear them. The cashier was nice and actually seemed embarrassed about the situation. I ordered my food to go. Worst ribs I’ve ever had. Dry and tasted like they were about 3 days old.

You just can’t go wrong at Larry’s. I usually go thru the drive-thru (Daleville) to pick up lunch. My favorites are their onion rings and giant baked potato. Their BBQ, of course, is great! The staff are professional and I’ve never seen one that didn’t look happy to be there. I think you should try it!

Lunch plates are a little small for the amount of money in my opinion but it was very good! I love their pork and sweet BBQ sauce! Their Brunswick stew is delicious as well!
