Social Profile:

We are a second generation, family owned and operated sub shop. This restaurant is located in Ormond Beach at the intersection of Granada and A1A. We really believe that we have the best subs in town. From the bread we have shopped in from Buffalo Ny, to the fresh, locally sourced produce and high quality meats and cheeses, quality is the key to everything we put in our sandwiches. If you have never tried a Larry’s Giant Sub, please stop in. You will not be disappointed. We regularly have people that are from out of town come in and before they leave, post a glowing Google review about how great the sandwich is. If you are concerned about gluten, we are happy to say that most of our menu can be served gluten free.

Visiting from Washington, DC, I came in for a try! The Ultimate Medium and cup of Clam Chowder completed my order. Jordan was a sweet as ahe could be. My 1 star rating was for the guy who bagged my order. He asked me if I wanted ranch with my Ultimate sub. I don’t know if that’s a local custom, but I told him no and he shoved my clamp chowder in the same bag with my sub. Honestly not thinking becsuse I felt slightly off at the moment, my mother was in the hospital and I was distracted. The guy appeared to be a little sore with me because I didn’t take the ranch dressing. Again, I don’t live here and if the local custom is to use it as a dipping sauce for the sub, the young man could have simply said that. I would have happily tried it. Look at the pics and you will see what happened when I got home. A sick mother and newer environment, I honestly didn’t think about how my dinner was packaged. It would have been nice if the young man had thought of how it was packaged for me, but I guess that is for the customer to police. OK, I accept that; the Larry’s Giant Subs Way! Thank you Jordan.

From someone who works in food service I understand how it is to be in the weeds.

These two fellas made our sandwiches top-tier and delivered it with a smile and a warming service atmosphere.
Liam and Jake keep doing what you’re doing. You guys are the best! Made our trip to Ormond Beach much better!

This was our first time at Larry’s. We’re on a weekend trip. My husband had a taste for a sub and didn’t want the normal chain subs. I googled subs and Larry’s came up. We hopped in the car and arrived about 30 minutes before closing. We received 5 star service. The two young ladies that was working was so friendly and knowledgeable. They wished us congratulations on being married two weeks. Gave great sandwich recommendations. Whenever we return on another adventure we will definitely stop by Larry’s giant subs.

This place has great food from salads, to 6 foot subs. We frequent this place as one of our absolute favs when we’re in town from Ann Arbor. The staff was energetic and fun. Highly recommend! Pizza sub is a hit, and so are the destroyer subs.

I never leave a review unless I really dislike or love a spot. This place has super inviting employees and amazing food. Haven’t had a killer sub like that in a while. I had the Italian Big One. Highly reccomend this place

Fantastic food, Absolutely love the staff ! Liam and Chloe are very friendly and attentive. I gave a 4 star rating for only one reason. I’m traveling and only carry 100$ and they could not accept my bill because the owner of the establishment had previously taken a fake bill from a previous transaction I wasn’t involved in. I suggest he get a machine that detects them or even a pen that’s much cheaper. It’s affecting your business more than you know. But other than that definitely suggest this place ! And bring change

Sadly, disappointed. We had sandwiches for takeout the night before. And breakfast the next day. The staff is super friendly and very nice.

Let’s start with the sandwiches. $32 for a sub and a sandwich. So someone on the pricey side to say the least. The Philly cheesesteak sub was large and while it was Tasty, it’s not exactly a Philly cheesesteak in my opinion. It was about average the turkey Reuben on rye was really good. Came to pickle spear which was nice. The potato salad was decent.

Breakfast is where we were most disappointed. Bacon and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll With a hash brown danish and what we were told was orange juice.
They definitely use fresh cracked eggs and the egg itself was good. The bacon was decent. The Kaiser roll tasted like it was either previously frozen or refrigerated so it had to be toasted. The dish tasted like something you get out of a multi pack at Costco, and individually wrapped. The hash brown, couldn’t even eat it. Tasted like something to get in the Walmart Frozen aisle. The orange juice wasn’t really orange juice, it was a juice blend and I hate that. Breakfast was also very expensive just over $20 for two egg sandwiches at Danish hash brown and two orange juices.

In conclusion, their bread could be a lot better. The portions are a good size but it’s a bit pricey. Nothing special about this place, especially for the high prices in my opinion.
