Larry’s has gone down hill. Went in last night to buy soup and subs for the wife and I and was let down. No soups of any kind were available. You’d think when you come to sandwich/sub shop that they would have various type of bread that are offered on the menu. When you sell Ruben sandwiches they are typically served on rye bread. No rye brand and the manager said it won’t be offered anymore. This place use to be the best sub shop in town but has been driven into the ground by poor management. The sweet young lady working by herself did everything she could but when management doesn’t provide the basic supplies for employees its not her fault. When this place soon closes it doors it will be another example of poor management in Camden county.

Hello everyone. On February 25, 2022 I was in the mood for a good sub while shopping at the Walmart in Kingsland and no!!! not a Subway sub but something above. I saw Larry’s Giant Subs in the same complex as Walmart so I thought I’d give them a try.
Before I continue a bit about me. I am from New York and Northern New Jersey so when I saw in the window of Larry’s New York style subs my reaction was “Yeah Right””?????? I’m also a Chef at two major high volume venue’s near Kingsland so I know food, value, and quality.
As soon as I went inside it smelled like a Sub Shop. The attendant was extremely helpful. He explained the menu to me, so here is my order folks! I ordered a 12 inch sub and an 8 inch sub with the following items. Ham, turkey, roast beef, peppered ham and capicola. Banana peppers, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and oregano. The bill came to $22.00.
When I arrived home look at the pictures I posted and see what I was given. Less than a 1/4 inch of meat, and barely any cheese. I expected both sandwiches to be heavy considering that I ordered 6 meats!
Bottom line. Value I give a 1). Quality I give a 5). Taste I give a 6). Customer service I will give an 8). Just because the young man at the counter was AWESOME. This was a first and last time experience for me at Larry’s Giant Subs. I could have gone to Subway and recieved better results.

Our first subs were excellent. The husband ordered a turkey and cheese and I ordered a turkey club. Went in a few days later.
He ordered a turkey club and it was nothing like the one I had gotten previously. He didn’t ask for oil the sub came with it just on. Two little pieces of bacon and a quarter slice of tomatoes. My husband was so disgusted with the sub. He threw half of his away.
Both times when we walked in to the shop, the odor of the cleaning substance smacks you in the face!
Must be a popular place because both times The restaurant had other customers.

The price you pay is more then what the menu says and they will not Honor the price on the menu. Told them I wanted pepper Jack and they put 3 slices of provolone. Paid for extra meat there was maybe 4 or 5 slices on the hole 12″ sandwich And the sandwiches are smaller than Subway. So much for giant subs. I’ve been to New tork and this is not a new York sub . this was the first and the last time I will come here was definitely not worth the money

Not allowed to leave 0 stars or I would. Paid nearly $100 for 4 subs and the employees are clueless. Didn’t even make custom subs we chose items of the menu. The Reuben was missing sourkraut and 1000 island. My giant delight had no Turkey lettuce or onion. When u came back to remedy the situation both employees seemed so disinterested in anything. Learn your menu and give actual customer service. Very disappointed. This was around 1pm 1/19/2025 two brown haired women one with a bunch of hickeys. Just all around terrible experience especially for the price. Also dont believe I got the double meat I ordered
