We stopped by for the first time driving through town. Ordered the pickle roll up pizza. It was so good we didnt even get a picture of it! I’ve had my fair share of pickle pizzas, and this is by far the best. I’d say even better than the pickle pizza from the state fair! Would recommend to anyone driving through the area.

I work with a friend who grew up in Wadena and he recommended Larry’s. It seems to be the local iconic restaurant. The bread sticks were excellent and the pizza very good. Prices were affordable.

I am very frustrated, I requested the extra room be reserved on Friday evening for family and friends I even offered to rent it knowing I would have people from out of town/state that would want to eat and to have an area to visit after my mom’s memorial. The room was dirty, there was food on the chairs and on the floor, I had to request the tables to be washed off. We had 2 different waitresses that were night and day. The one was professional, kind, considerate and courteous (she is going to college in Fargo I believe) The other heavier set one with glasses was the exact opposite. She was rude, mouthy, she interrupted us constantly, she thought she was funny when I requested a refill of soda with extra ice and she didn’t put any ice in it. I had to ask her 3 times for ice before she would comply. The worst part was how extremely rude she was to my father. We just had a memorial service for my mom and she treated him with no respect or consideration. There were people who questioned my choice in selecting Larry’s Family Pizza after what they saw. I was so embarrassed. I could have and should have bought catered food in Fargo and brought it to Wadena but thought I would stay local… huge mistake. I have been trying to contact the manager since Saturday. I have left messages for her to call me with no response. All I can say is “Never Again”

Stopped here while on the road. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. A great pie! Super cheesy. Real cheese. Zesty sauce. Breadsticks looked amazing, but we didn’t get any. Super fair prices. Would definitely go back if ever in the area.

Ordered garlic cheese bread expecting to get something OTHER THAN 2 slices of white sandwich bread toasted on one side with a BLOB of cheese in the middle of the untrusted side. 2 slices cut in 2…4 pieces. Heavily garliced. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! Will NOT ORDER AGAIN.

I always liked Larry’s, but as of the last 6 months I’ve been noticing issues with pricing and food, so I started ordering the same exact thing every other week, getting different prices each time. The prices go as follows every other week for the same exact meal: $27.13, $28.22, $25.21, $32.39. almost as if they just randomly choose their prices off the top of their head. The food is still good, but the pricing here has become quite irratic.

This is my family’s favorite restaurant. There is such a great variety of delicious options and the best pizza around. At least four generations of my family has enjoyed this place and I hope it’s around for many more. We love everything that’s offered on the menu, but we can’t leave Larry’s without a Hawaiian pizza. Make sure to stop at Larry’s Pizza in Wadena!
