This restaurant was recommended by a few co workers. Me and the family drove and hour to have dinner here and we were all pretty satisfied. Greeted by a friendly host and staff we made our way through the various buffets. Salad bar.. meat bar that included chicken, pork chops, fried catfish and beef. Hot and seemingly fresh vegetables and a decent dessert bar. On this particular night a singer was performing to add to the ambiance.

Excellent place to eat for the whole family. Open floor with a good homemade selection of food. Very good and very friendly people. My family (party of 8) came here for lunch and was extremely pleased.

I don’t usually like buffets, but I was in the area and searching for a highly rated place to eat. I’m glad I went here! The service was really friendly. It was really clean, and they have a sanitizing station they request you use before you go up to the buffet,which is really great/helpful. The food seemed mostly home cooked (really good), with a large variety. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone else looking for southern home cooked food in the area.

We searched google for a good place to eat on a road trip, we where not disappointed. The food was all hot and fresh at 4pm on a Saturday. The hole catfish where good, the chicken was also good. Staff was friendly and showed us 1st timers around. Would recommend and if I’m ever hungry and in the neighborhood I will stop by.

I’m 35 years old and have been going to this place since I was like 2! This is mine and my husband’s all time favorite place ever!! Everything you eat is will be the best you’ve ever had. The price might be a little high but it’s worth it with the quality of the food. If anyone asked me where I want to go eat.. this is the place!! Chicken tenders are perfect! Best chicken and dumplings I’ve had anywhere.. I could go on and on about it. Larry and his wife work hard to keep this place so good. It’s also extremely clean!!

If Georgia is on your mind I recommend Larry’s Buffet. The most delicious southern, down home cooking you’ll ever eat. To add to this, the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. As a restaurant manager for over 20 years, I must say, WOW!! Amazing. I felt right at home. I also loved relaxing on the covered porch with the beautiful mountain rocks, lush gardens and mountain view. As I enjoyed my visit and dinner so much I was there close to 4 hours. Excited about having dinner again at Larry’s. The staff was so attentive and kind.

We found this place while searching for somewhere to eat that was new. We LOVED it! Yes, the buffet is about $15 per person but for the price you get a drink and all the home-cooked Southern goods you could want. They have many different main courses and side dishes to choose from (if you want a list, go to their website) . They have a nice salad bar and some great dessert, too! They have soda, iced tea, and coffee to drink. I wish I had taken a picture of the inside because it is so cute! If you are looking for the most Southern food you can get, come here. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was good! The sweet potato souffle was divine. Customer service was awesome. We had traveled from Roanoke, AL to the Tennessee Aquarium and Ruby Falls, so on the way back I googled restaurants and Larry’s Buffet came up with good ratings. I called eight miles out and asked if he could accommodate 45 people and he was more than gracious. By far, the best customer service and the most friendly people I have every met in Trenton, GA.

Larry’s Buffet is a hidden gem tucked away in Trenton. The aroma of smoked meats drifts through the air around the rustic decor. Inside, the area is bright and clean with room to move about.
The buffet has a nice salad bar with fresh cut vegetables and an assortment of toppings. The hot food is stocked with a great selection of in house smoked meats, southern style vegetables and sides all hand made in house. No boxed potatoes here! Ice cream and and amazing peach cobbler tops off the meal for a perfect finish.

Great place to take the family for a meal everyone will enjoy. Even the pickiest child can find something they love to eat on the buffet. Down home southern family cooking. Menu varies throughout the week. Larry can really get down on the grill too, smoked briskett and pulled pork off the smoker is delicious.
