Definitely recommend! We we’re driving out of Joshua Tree hungry because all the usual spots in town outside the park were packed. Spotted this place and turned around (best decision #1). When we sat down we were greeted by Larry himself and he was wonderful! I ordered the chicken fried steak (best decision #2) and it was so good. All the staff were just so nice and fun to talk to. This will be my new go to spot for breakfast when visiting Joshua Tree. Not as crowded and better homestyle food than other spots! Don’t miss this place!

Yummy little breakfast spot! It was busy when we arrived but plenty of tables inside and outside to choose from. Staff was exceptionally nice and food was delicious. I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy with egg whites and my husband picked 2-2-2 pancakes, eggs, bacon. Can’t beat the value! ** note: They accept credit card for food but not tips. I wish I knew that earlier because I didn’t have any cash. I wish the would just automatically apply tips in that instance!

This place is awesome. One of the best spots in the basin for breakfast and brunch for sure. The food is awesome and the chicken fried steak is one of the best you will find anywhere. No frozen bullshiz. They use a fresh cube steak and bread it by hand and smother it in gravy. Seriously amazing. Everything else I have ever had here is great too. The staff is awesome from Larry himself to Jim, Deb, Star, and everyone else, this is a genuinely great spot to eat. Enjoy.

My mom took me here, I was on vacation visiting and I loved it. If you want original diner food, this is the place to go! The food was delicious with huge portions and for a great price. The service is great as the owners is very friendly and they take care of you, the coffee just kept on coming.

You never can go wrong no matter what you order. Today I got a taco salad. It is filled with all fresh salad, spinach and veggies topped with taco seasoned ground beef and served in a fresh baked salad taco shell. They have an excellent breakfast and outstanding burgers. Enjoy.

First time here. Pretty crowded, but I can see why. Very dog friendly. Lots of parking. Big area with concrete in front with tables and umbrellas for you and your dog. Picnic tables however.

ok we decided to try out this place out since we wanted breakfast. this place is busy and we had to sit outside which is fine but them desert flys are annoying lol. The chicken fried steaks needed a little bit more seasoning but you could definitely tell they were homemade. I had the hashbrowns that Husband had the home fries. Either way food is awesome and service was great!
