Microwave was disgusting. We told the staff but they had no interest in cleaning it. My wife found a nasty looking bucket labeled “cleaner” with a rag on the counter & cleaned the microwave. She failed to wash her hands after that, before heating & eating her soup. A few hours later she was in the Saranac Lake Emergency Room where she was diagnosed with salmonella. We spent our anniversary in a very nice tree house near Paul Smiths, unable to do anything but lie in bed taking Cipro.

This is the best deli experience you can have in town. I have eaten here all my life and grown up eating their breakfast. Best breakfast in town, best coffee, excellent coffee and food. The place is the best gas station in town. Larkin’s should be a stop if you’re on the road going through tupper. I’ve never been disappointed the food service was exceptional.

Stopped in to grab a snack and use restroom. Door read out of order so I used the employee restroom. The owner came out and smashed on the door telling me to get out of there while I was using the restroom. Not only against state health code, but also just rude.

Great stop for morning coffee and a pastry when in the ADK’s. Used to get a kick out of their sign out front. They also sell gas and diesel. The sign sort of read “Diesel Bakery” from the road. It’s a regular stop.
