Social Profile:

Inspired by the dusty border towns and the spicy and smoky flavors of Texas, we headed north to Seattle with the dream of bringing our favorite Tex-Mex dishes to the PNW. From our mesquite-smoked meats, to the exposed brick of our almost-80-year-old building, we aim to pay homage to the Lone Star State and all of it’s south-of-the-border influences. Our food is fresh, it’s local, and we can serve it to a table of two or a party of 30. In addition to our authentic dishes, we’ve got some pretty awesome cocktails on the menu, like the avocado margarita, made famous at Curra’s Grill in Austin, Texas. Serving Tex Mex in Seattle and doing it right is unique, and we’re dedicated to making sure our customers love everything about our place.

Lively neighborhood cantina serving mesquite-grilled Tex-Mex & northern Mexican fare, plus tequila.

Coming from Texas, this food genuinely tastes like home. Their salsa is amazing and consistent. Fresh chips always. Happy hour is DAILY. Good portion sizes and have never been disappointed after at least 20 visits. Molly is fantastic and even started remembering our orders.

Lorenzo’s was great! You walked in and there’s a nice vibe and feel. The place is a little dark, but I love the wooden tables and chairs. The place is nice and clean and has a good layout. The food is great too. We love the queso. Different than the normal Velveeta you get at so many other places. It has a little spicy, but tasted perfect. We ordered the Al pastor tacos and they were loaded with meat. They could have used a little more onion and cilantro, but they had a good flavor. The margaritas were tasty. The traditional margarita had a light taste to it and almost tasted like a skinny margarita which we enjoyed it. They have a nice bar section and TV’s for watching the games. We’ll definitely go back.

Just went here tonight. There were 11 of us! All I can say amazing, everything we had was FIRE good! The chimichanga best I’ve ever had, the truck tacos amazing, queso was not like any I’ve ever had but couldn’t stop eating it was so good! The barbacoa was spot on. The BEST Mexican food I have ever had! Highly recommend

I gotta say I was pretty impressed. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting but when I had the beans and tasted that smoky flavorful profile, I had a feeling I was in for a great meal. Is that epazote I was tasting?. Normally the beans can be an afterthought, but truly I feel like it’s how you can judge in Mexican food spot. I didn’t taste a lot of the Tex within the Mex, but maybe that’s because I ordered the shrimp tacos which were stewed and absolutely delicious. The tortillas are pretty soft. The chips and salsa and guacamole were Rock salad and the drinks were good too. Maybe the drinks are a little small and could’ve been more Texas size lol. Everything came out quick hot and in its right place, we were a large group and the staff did an awesome job accommodating us.

First issue was trying to put in a reservation online, it said nothing was available for several hours. We tried calling multiple times as we walked to the restaurant and no one answered. We were hungry and I really wanted Mexican so we just continued on and were pleased to see there were plenty of tables available.
Service was slow, I felt like we were an annoyance to the server. We weren’t offered refills either…
Food wise, the carnitas enchiladas were pretty good. The flavor of the meat was good and the meat was soft and easy to eat. The beans needed something more, I felt the rice needed more salt and flavor, but it was nice and soft.
The chips and queso was very spicy for my taste, but after I got into it, it wasn’t too bad.

Really cozy atmosphere, great tasting food, and a reasonable servicing size. We went there before a Kraken game / during a Seahawks game, and it wasn’t too busy. The music volume was perfect, not too loud and we were able to have a good conversation while still enjoying the music and watching the game. They swapped over to the Seahawks audio in the last 2 minutes of the game which was nice as it was the key deciding plays.
I had the carne asada, meat was perfect and well seasoned, rice was slightly undercooked but as soon as I mentioned it they brought out a new bowl and corrected the issue.
My wife had the 3 taco combo was also very tasty. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

This was a recommendation from our hotel and we were not disappointed. The service special and food was delicious. Our appetizer was brisket cheese fries, 1/2 price for happy hour. We ordered cheese enchiladas and chicken fajita quesadilla. This was well prepared with quality ingredients. A very special shout out to Shannon, an incredible server. This restaurant is a must stop!

Ok u guys, Laredos is our new neighborhood fave. We just moved to the ‘best’ side of QA and were introduced to Laredos. The bartender Ken is a pro, adding to the bar top chatter in the best way. Fajitas and margaritas Thursday is now a tradition with our friends and has added a lot of joy to our life. Thanks Laredos~

Came here looking for a TexMex fix, based on recommendations by other Texas expats.
Place is casual, Mexican music playing, not too loud, outdoor sidewalk patio seating. Service was quick and friendly.
This is one of the few places with a house frozen margarita. It was limey, and didn’t taste too much like a mix, so that was good. Scratch margarita was even better.
Chips were served warm, which is always a treat. Salsa is very blended and pretty mild, almost ketchupy. Could use more jalapeño and cilantro. Chorizo queso was really delicious, with a bunch of green chiles making it nice and spicy.
TexMex enchiladas satisfied the desire for tons of melted cheese (see photo). Piccadillo in the enchilada was WAY above average. There were hints of oregano and cinnamon in the gravy, giving it some complexity. Rice was flavorful. Beans were not.
Carnitas, however, are not carnitas. They are pork stewed in salty sauce, with no effort to crisp it up at the edges. So salty I actually couldn’t eat it.
It was promising enough that we will be back to try fajitas and other enchiladas, but will never order the “carnitas” again.

Fun and tasty Mexican grill located off of Aloha street in lower Queen Anne! We got the tortilla soup and enchiladas plate with chips and salsa. Everything tasted good and came out quick. The bar is full service and they have a number of great cocktails including a house margarita that we tried. The staff are friendly. We were in there for any big occasion but they have a bunch of tvs and I’m sure it get active during a big game or fight. The only drawback was that they seemed slightly understaffed for the night.
