My recent visit to this establishment was deeply disappointing. The food presented to me was far below acceptable standards. The fried chicken I received appeared dry, poorly prepared, and visibly overcooked, with dark burnt areas and an overall appearance that suggested it had been sitting out for an extended period.
The quality was so concerning that I questioned whether the meal was even safe to consume. For a business that promotes freshness and flavor, this experience reflected neither.
I expect a basic level of care, cleanliness, and food safety when ordering a meal, and unfortunately this location failed to meet those expectations. Significant improvement is needed in both food quality and preparation practices. At this time, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Let me start by saying I was desperate and hungry for breakfast. I had to go to Home Depot and get back on the road quickly. So I went against my better judgment and stopped in. I purchased 2 bean and cheese tacos. It was my first time in and needed guidance on where to pay. The young gentleman told me to grab the ticket and take it to the register. I paid and got in my car and on the road. I took my first bite. It was like biting into firm old play dough. The tortilla was under cooked as well. But I was starving and had places to be. So I was just going to choke it down. Second bite on the road to my destination. I bit down into a huge chunk of egg shell and immediately began gagging. There weren’t any napkins in my bag. At this point I’m heaving into the tiny paper bag. Chunks of egg shell stuck in my molars. I’ve had 3 children, and gagging and vomiting unfortunately causes me to pee myself. So now I have soiled my britches. Thanks so very much Taco Laredo, for not only wasting my time, and money, but for making me puke and pee my pants. Thanks for starting my day off in entirely the wrong foot. I would have rather eaten a gas station hotdog that fell on the floor. This was an awful experience. Never ever again.

The best thing about the place is the pictures but it’s all an illusion! Stay away!
Julie was super rude. Not an happy place. Ignored me when I asked a question. Several items weren’t available. I asked for the 1/2 chicken and was told they were out, and then they came out of the oven. I said oh look there they are and she simply said “they’re not done” that’s it. No apology, no time when they would be done. Nothing.
Advertised meals had small print that said it didn’t start for a couple days. The bowl was a nice looking picture but our meal was less than half the size. Carne asada was terrible and burnt. We talked to the cashier and she said the ladies working there are always rude and they get a lot of complaints but they don’t get fired because they know too much. They have no training. We don’t even want to eat all the food for fear we would get sick.

I’m not sure why this location has bad reviews, so we felt compelled to write a good one, because I suspect that the many happy customers are not reviewing. I’ve had tacos from many different Laredo Taco locations and this one is excellent and very clean. The ladies working were also great despite a long shift and long line of customers. Delicious homemade tortillas and good variety of taco fillings.

This is one of the best locations of Laredo Taco Company I’ve been to. Very clean and food was excellent. The two ladies making tacos were friendly and working hard, and made quick work of a long line of customers. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews; this is a good breakfast stop.

Every time I go it’s the same lady. No matter the time of day, she’s in a bad mood. I’m being respectful but she doesn’t reciprocate. She rudely told my husband to get his hands off the widow, he was simply trying to point at what he wanted on his taco.

10:30am – The food I ordered looked fresh in the display trays up front. When I opened my order, I received all the tidbits and burnt pieces from the bottom corners of each food tray containing what I ordered. They basically keep the food looking good doing this process. You order and they have you pay at the store registrars and not the one in front of the food. You don’t see your food being made. A crew of 5 with 4 standing around and one usually working to take orders. Every tortilla had char dust from the grill on it. The kind you get from not cleaning the grills, not from burning with high heat. The salsa is jelly. You usually achieve this by adding gelatin preserves or from freezing and thawing more than once. It is salsa flavored jelly.

I worked here a year and a half ago, I only worked a week because I saw so many issues and with bugs,mold and water getting poured in food to keep it looking fresh. When I brought up the attention about the roaches and flys by the garbage cans and salsa bar the manager told me that the health inspectors don’t look inside them. I was beyond myself and after that had no will to work so I walked out. Before working there I worked at a 4 star fast food chain that taught us to be clean because for the HEALTH of customers. This place needs to be shut down and cleaned.
