I made the mistake of visiting this location on free slurpee day. I was originally going to go across the street but came here because I thought there was some kind of grand opening. I am not from here and was just passing through. The store was packed upon entering and they had plenty of food stocked. I ordered the nachos grande with chicken fajita instead of the normal meat.
I asked them to add sour cream and guacamole and cilantro. Instead of giving me the nachos grande they only put what I asked for on the nachos. There was ABSOLUTELY NO CHEESE. WHO eats nachos without cheese?
The guacamole had NO seasoning.
Honestly I was hopeful when ordering but I got what you would expect from a gas station restaurant.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Attempted to order breakfast tacos but couldn’t due to employee playing on their phone with her back turned to the counter. Stood at counter for 2 to 3 minutes and just left.

It ain’t no Torchys taco but it definitely is as good as it looks! If your in a rush and can’t wait for a taco at a restaurant definitely come here inside the Valero. I ordered the carnitas brava and it’s a fried pork with seasoning and lite spice and tasted very good, I also ordered the Barbacoa and it definitely did not disappoint. Disclaimer on barbacoa if it looks greasy,that’s how it’s supposed to look!! Enjoyed my meal today and highly recommend this taco spot for a quick lunch.

I am originally from West Texas and they have Laredo Taco at the Stripes Stores around there but I will say over the years they have gotten sloppy with the salsa bar and making the tacos over there but this one in Tyler was clean and all the Salsa was fresh. I don’t who would give this one a bad review but trust me and go to some of them in West Texas because this one is wonderful ❤️

During the lunch hour, the taco counter had old food, only half of the posted menu was available and the manager that I questioned could only speak to an employee who then passed her failure on to me… all right in front of me. It was dirty and service was terrible. Didn’t try any of the food. It may have been tasty the day before when they prepared it.

I am a fan of Laredo Taco. Not a fan of this location. The tortilla was room temperature and had the consistency and feel of cardboard with no flavor. The carne guisada was too salty. The lone erson working was on her cell phone and ignored me at first. When she did take my order, she kept talking on phone.

You know it’s dangerous when you go to the salsa station and the green and red salsa is bubbling on its own… I can tell by the employees in there that they did not care about what they’re serving or maintaining their store. Needless to say I didn’t go near that Salsa. Upper management Here’s a warning for you find better management… These people are given your customer’s food poisoning!

Please don’t eat there, this place hands down is the worst food that I’ve ever ate. Cold stale tortillas, the meat looked and tasted like it had been reheated several times. Just absolutely disgusting.
