This cozy, family-owned Mexican restaurant immediately felt warm and welcoming. I decided to make a random stop for lunch and asked for recommendations, ordering the chicken enchiladas, one taco, and menudo. It’s honestly hard to put into words just how good the food was. Everything tasted authentic, comforting, and clearly made with care. The flavors were rich without being heavy, and each dish felt thoughtfully prepared. I haven’t stopped thinking about this place since my visit, it’s one of those spots that sticks with you.
Sometimes the best meals come from random stops, and this was definitely one of them. I will absolutely come back again, this place is a hidden gem.

Found this little place out here that has caldo de res. That is a traditionnal Mexican plate. If I doesn’t have this plate it’s not authentic Mexican food. The caldo was delicious and the salsa was great nice and spicy. The only bad thing was it was hot in that place but they have a cool little store in there too. Definitely will be back. Amazing food from a small hole in the wall family owned restaurant. They make their own tamales, tortillas & chips. Absolutely devoured my 2 plates. Can’t wait to come back.

Normally love coming here because they know my order and the food is fresh.
Idk if it was because it was the end of the day or what, but everything I ordered was awful. Meat was unseasoned, dry, my asada tasted like old, chewy fatty left overs the rice and beans were cold and the tortillas were hard and stale like they were old or left out.
Again I love coming here so it’s just disappointing that because I came at a different time than usual that the quality went down DRASTICALLY.

The service was good and the food was not bad at all, it was hot and delicious, the only thing I can think of is the meat tasted like it needed more seasoning to be completely honest. The menu most expensive item was under 20 dollars and it’s called the Mexican plate very delicious.

If you look for a place to feel a true Mexican vibe, this restaurant is the right place. This restaurant is busy most of the time, but you shouldn’t miss their foods despite the hecticness. I love the menudo (known as the best hangover food) here and I would like to revisit here again to try Caldo de res.
