The atmosphere is a typical Mexican decor with cartoonish artwork. The tables are a bit cramped together, but in a way that makes no conversation private. There are televisions on the walls showing sporting events.
The staff is charming, extremely efficient, and attentive.
I ordered the A-8 appetizer sampler (pic), which included a quesadilla, flauta, and nachos al carbon. The quesadilla stood out as the best and tastiest item, with plenty of cheese and meat. The nachos al carbon were salty and overfilled with refried beans. The flauta(fried mini burrito) offered a tasty shell and beef chunks, but it only filled half the shell.
My partner had the nachos supreme (pic), which was overwhelmed with an annoying amount of lettuce and unpleasantly large chunks of chicken, which created a pool of water underneath the bed of nachos; eventually creating soggy nachos; the nachos went unfinished.
Overall, the service saved the day, but for $20/person (food, soda, and taxes only) I expect a better prepared meal with higher quality meat.

My husbands boss recommended this place. We had lunch there today and i will definitely be back. The service was great, food came out fast and fresh, and tasted delicious! The best part was our server (whoms name i didnt get) she was so very sweet. My 1 year old reached up to her and she picked him, he didnt want to let go. He is not one to go to everyone. Thank you for the delicious food and amazing service.

Great place for lunch!
Was impressed by the decor inside – each chair is painted (by hand?) and looks carved with Mexican vistas. The paintings are really cool as well.
Menu was large and servings were huge! Neither of us could finish what we ordered.
Free nachos and salsa – their salsa was really good! And we are annoying and avoid onions which is often scowled at when it comes to Mexican food, but he didn’t bat an eye, and accommodated no problem. I didn’t even get a hint of it, so if they use it in any sauces it’s well cooked down.
Overall, really great place, and we’re glad we stopped!

Our server was really good, the food was alright. We shared the chimichanga dinner and it was enough for the two of us. The building is on the tired side and we weren’t sure it was open. The restaurant and restrooms were pretty clean.

Real good food, warm chips and yummy salsa to start. Great atmosphere with beautiful decor. The staff is very attentive and the prices are good. They are closed on Sunday so plan accordingly. If I could offer one suggestion ⌨️it would be to add some Mexican music in the background. Just adds to ambiance. Beautiful place good eats.

I must gush about this place!
This is the BEST TexMex I have had in years!
I actually remembered to photograph the food before we ate everything.
The sweet tea was awesome too.
From the moment we walked inside, the restaurant, food, and service was excellent!
My only regret is that we were only visiting the area and I cannot go here every week

For the location it’s at, this is a nice restaurant. Outside of Starke, it’s a 3 out of 5 stars. But inside Starke, it’s fine dinning.
That said, if you happen to be in Starke, check them out.

Our visit was just ok. We dined in as a family of 5 on valentine’s day and it wasn’t busy but the food took some time to come out and our sides of rice and beans were just lukewarm. It was a little disappointing sadly.

Asked for a SIDE of refried beans AND a SIDE of rice, got home just to find out they gave me a side of refried beans/rice. Half portions of what I wanted, I wanted a full side of beans and a full side of rice ♂️ i don’t know why it’s too hard to listen to what your customers tells you they want. And than to have the audacity to have a sign stating that once it’s out the door it’s not yalls fault??? What a joke
