For dinner, I ordered the 40 layer lasagna, which was filling. I’d get it again, but there are many items that looked as good I may try. For appetitizers, we got arinchini which were delicious as well. Overall, great dinner with a beautiful ambiance.
The Duck Hunt was outstanding. The truffle added a deep, earthy richness that elevated the dish without overpowering it. The arancini was perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and cheesy on the inside, with a spicy sauce that tied everything together beautifully. We also really enjoyed the lasagna, which was comforting and delicious. The polpo was incredibly tender, and the olives in the sauce helped cut through the richness, keeping the dish well balanced and not too heavy.
Definitely looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.
We started off with the oysters, caesar salad and gamberi, and they were all delicious. We also tried the grilled octopus and sun-dried tomatoes and olives complimented it so well.
For the main we did the linguine and of course the 40-layer lasagna.
Our server, Ezra, was amazing and so attentive throughout the night. The restaurant was definitely packed when we arrived for our 7:45pm reservation, but by around 8:30/9 the dining room started to clear out and the atmosphere felt much cozier.
We enjoyed a glass of Chianti, so we didn’t get to explore the cocktails this time, and we weren’t able to try the Duck Hunt.. but that just gives us another reason to come back. Absolutely enjoyed it and would definitely return to try more from the menu!
The Caesar salad was next level, perfectly dressed with that ideal balance of bright, savory, and creamy, plus the kind of crunch that makes you keep going back for one more forkful. The grilled veggies with ginger were a standout too, beautifully charred, vibrant, and elevated by that ginger note that gave everything a fresh little spark. And the 40 layer lasagna, wow. Rich, comforting, and unbelievably silky, with layers that somehow feel both indulgent and refined. It is the kind of dish you will be thinking about the next day.
What really made the night feel special though was the service. Robin, the customer relations manager, was genuinely amazing, kind, and thoughtful. She checked on us and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. Ezra, our server, was just as wonderful. She was attentive, checked on us throughout the meal, gave great recommendations, and kept the whole experience feeling easy and taken care of.
Fantastic food, fantastic people, fantastic experience. I would absolutely recommend L’Ardente and cannot wait to go back.
my favorite part was definitely the apple cider sorbet! Not too sweet, refreshing and had a lot of flavor!
Overall, my family had a great time. The noise level/vibe was nicely cultivated, and Trey made our experience by guiding us through recommendations. Def recommend!
we got the 40 layer and carbonara – the pasta texture was very good, but the taste was interesting. there was something to the flavor that wasn’t my favorite but i could tell everything was high quality.
we will def be back to try more appetizers and the duck ravioli again
we sat in the dining room near the window and the noise level was fine- we were able to talk, the seats lining the window were not that comfortable however
We started with the Arancini and Caesar salad. Both were good but neither was unbelievable. I did like how the Caesar was covered in Parmesan.
For dinner we got both the Campanelle Nere and the 40 layer lasagna. Again, both were good but neither was worth the price. You can get really delicious, handmade pasta at Cucini Mornini right across the street. Much better value and taste in my opinion.
L’Ardente does have a cool bar and I absolutely loved the bathroom sign. It would be a fun place to come with a large group but I will spend my date night money elsewhere.
