We had a wonderful evening at L’APPART by AIR FOOD. From the moment we arrived, a beautiful large table was ready for us, and we immediately felt like we were invited to friends’ home.
The restaurant has a lot of style with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is gourmet, generous, and made with heart, just like home-cooked meals great starters, flavorful mains, and especially amazing desserts.
We were about ten people celebrating Christmas with friends, and the team took excellent care of us throughout the evening: attentive, kind, and professional.
The value for money is truly on point, which is rare in Los Angeles, especially when you’re looking to eat really well at reasonable prices.
I highly recommend L’ APPART by AIR FOOD if you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy a lovely evening with friends or family. ✨

It was a great experience! I went with friends for LA restaurant week, and had a fixed menu. All the choices were so good ❤️ As a fellow french woman, I was so pleased with the service and the food

Absolutely authentic French experience! The service was amazing for european standards, they might not overwhelm you with joy but they will make sure things are to your taste! The evening was absolutely fantastic, the food was spectacular in terms of presentation, taste and for a very good price as well. Some older couple that I met at the restaurant said that for them the area was a little sketchy, and is true, specially the part of a little, not too much really… At the end, the bill had a little subcharge that unless you ask, they might not tell you what it is, but that they will remove if it bothers you, for us it didn’t, the waiter said that it was a charge due to inflation and considering the great experience and the overall good prices for the food, we didn’t mind paying it, I strongly advise you, if you can, do the same… But it is definitely a must visit if you like French food

Amazing experience! The whole experience struck that perfect balance of cozy, elevated, and authentically French. Started at the wine bar, which had a fantastic selection of French wines and cocktails in an intimate setting. Then headed to the restaurant, we ordered the Mussels Marinières and the 48-Hour Duck Leg Confit—both were rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The mussels are a must and will be heading back soon just for them, get some bread on the side to dip in the sauce.

My boyfriend chose this place to celebrate my birthday dinner and I am so glad that he did. The ambiance of the restaurant is both warm and intimate.
During our dinner, they only had one server plus the bartender was also helping her out. She did an amazing job at catering to all of the other tables’ needs considering she was the only one serving the whole restaurant.
The food was top tier! Prices are reasonable, portions are huge and flavors were just moutwateringly good! We started off with a dozen of Escargot and a bowl of French Onion Soup paired with our drinks of choice, Blackberry Mint Julep and a glass of red wine. For our mains, we shared the Burgundy Pizza and Beef Bourguignon. Everything we ordered was so good and we were really surprised how delicious everything was! Lastly for our dessert, the server gave us a complimentary birthday Pistachio Crème Brûlée plus two glasses of bubbly.
Thank you very much to the team behind L’appart. My birthday dinner is another memorable one. I will for sure recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful little bistro, with such nice staff! Classic dishes like snails, duck confit, and beef tartare are done very well. The bread too was superb – they heat it in their pizza oven, to terrific effect.
Finally, a very wide ranging and interesting collection of wines.
The costs are quite reasonable – the setting is convivial, conducive to a good conversation, and the wines are excellent. What more could one want for ann everyday bistro?

Very high quality food with incredible attention to detail, very accommodating service with absolutely no attitude, and very aesthetic atmosphere with very good attention to detail. My dinner partner was late but they are very chill about sitting. While I waited I got the (Baja origin) oysters with a mango and pomelo gele, which I was a little concerned about being too sweet and strong to over power the oysters, but quite unexpectedly it was subtle. I was very upset that there was no French onion soup as I heard it was the best soup of that y type in LA, so we got the pizza with snails as an appetizer and it was delicious . For the main , I got the duck confit with a piquant red fruit sauce and it was outstanding… Not to rich! How did they do that? Partner got the lamb shank which was good too with its sauce. I’m still glad I got the confit. Will return for the bœuf bourguignon, which they make with red miso and butternut squash. Strangely inexpensive, or at least well priced. Reasonable enough that I could become a regular…

I decided to check out a new brunch spot with great reviews on Google. I made a reservation, but I believe that the restaurant also accepts walk-ins. The ambiance was lovely with live music, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations.
For brunch, they offered a variety of buffet items, including croissants, crepes, and other dishes. However, to my disappointment, I found a strand of eyelashes in my juice.
The service was unsatisfactory as well, with only two waiters serving the entire restaurant. This was unfair to both the customers and staff. I had to grab utensils from other tables because my table had none.
While the idea of a brunch buffet is great since customers can choose what they want to eat, the staff and owner should pay attention to these little details. Perhaps it would be better to try the restaurant for dinner instead.

Just became my top1 hidden gem restaurant in dtla, atmosphere, service and food are impeccable. Must order escargots, scallop risotto and rib eye steak! The cheese platter is pretty amazing too. We always bring our own wine and the corkage is very reasonable $25/bottle.
