Such a great place to stop for a bite to eat in a great atmosphere! Our pizza was so good and the service was good even though they were busy. There was a little mixup so our pizza was a little delayed and the server made it right without us even having to ask! Would definitely return!

In short, the crust is a dream come true. The toppings ruined it for me. I didn’t hate the food, but I don’t know when or if I’ll be back. Go try it for yourself, it definitely worth checking out.

The service was alright. They were busy, so I can’t complain about the service. They were definitely working.
The atmosphere was good. It’s small but a nice atmosphere.
The food, I was let down. The pizzas look amazing. The dough is absolutely perfect. The crust is light, airy, with a perfect crunch. The toppings is where it all fell apart for me.
The Alfredo tasted straight from a jar with no seasoning. They go light on the little cubed chicken, which also, not the most flavorful. The artichoke is about one artichoke heart, peeled apart, and lightly scattered about. The tomatoes are few and far between, again lightly scattered about.
The tomatoe sauce on the pepperoni pizza tasted like sauce from a can of spaghetti-o’s. Again, the crust, to die for.
The BBQ chicken is probably the best one of the three. A sweet tasting BBQ sauce saved it from lacking flavor. The chicken was little cubes lightly scattered about again.
People love this pizza. They had constant customers coming in for pick up.

First time trying..asked the wife and kids what they thought..wige said one of the pizzas she has ever had. Kids says in their top 5 pizza places. In my top 7. Had BLT pizza…awsome..pepperoni/ pineapple pizza..good…salads were great..beer..good..solid 4.7-4.9 resturant. All said it was worth the 1 hour drive to eat there.

Always a great time at Lapeer Pizza Co. / Tilted Axis. We don’t live in the area but try to stop there whenever we come by. The owner was in and stopped by our table to greet us. Super friendly and I can’t wait to try the taco Stromboli concoction he was whipping up in the back the next time we come through.

Wife and I ordered calzones. Hers was loaded with cheese. Mine looked like they just sprinkled cheese inside. No cheese or pepperoni within 2” of each end. I thought calzones were supposed to have a lot of cheese. I’ll give em one more chance, and will say something about my 1st visit. I was not expecting this from a 4.9 rated pizza place. Very disappointed.
