We ordered satay, dumplings, 2 Singapore noodles, and 2 spicy chow mian noodles on 3/7 for delivery. I’ve been to Lao Sze Chuan in Chinatown and expected the quality of food to be the same. It’s not. the satay was overcooked, very dry, but still edible. The dumplings were also overcooked but edible (pictured). I did not eat the Singapore noodles, but 2 people in my group said it was good and they would order again. Both spicy chow mian noodles were inedible. The beef, shrimp, onions, and peppers were fine. The noodles on the other hand were inedible (pictured). We couldn’t chew through the noodles and had to throw them out.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Lao Sze Chuan! The food was exceptional, bursting with authentic flavors. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes. I can’t wait to return for another delightful meal!

we went for the lunch special and everything was phenomenal. they give you spicy cabbage to munch on while you’re deciding. the house special chicken is amazing. great crab rangoon! we liked the rangoon better than the egg roll but both were great and served with spicy mayo. will def come back.

Decent and relatively authentic Szechuan food. Some sichuan ingredients and flavors were missing. The beef tripes didn’t have the tenderness nor the imbued flavor that we are used to, but the rest, including the poached fish were very tasty and flavorful. Maybe it was because I came after peak hours just after the lunch, but I found the service lacking in attention. The prices are very fair as well as the portions. The decor is good too, as is the atmosphere.

I asked my waiter to bring me something he recommend and brought me the Mongolian beef which was tasty but pretty basic. With little Vietnam so close I bet there’s some better spots for Mongolian beef nearby. It wasn’t exactly expensive but $22 for Mongolian beef seems a little steep.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally had the chance to. Menu had alot of food choices. When food was served we started eating right away, hence the partial plate pictures lol…but all dishes were so flavorful. This restaurant and the cook did not disappoint us at all. The flavor just burst in your mouth. YUM! Reminds me of the food I ate in China.

The food was delicious, with some nice strong flavor. The portions are bigger then expected, which is awesome. The intestines were flavorful and crispy, unlike some other places. The food came out really fast, and the staff were all really friendly. I can’t wait to come back again.

Very fresh food. Good service. Tasty food. Food is spicy but you wouldnt go to a Szechuan restaurant if you didn’t love spicy food. Recommend to anyone. Relatively healthy.

The food tastes bad and is not fresh. All of these can be taken as accident and I can just never come next time. But the attitude of the waitress was very bad, and she even asked me back when the lamb was raw: Do you want fully cooked? I never know that regular raw lamb can be eaten. I thought it was the chef’s problem, but now it seems that the service is also a big problem.
