At Lao Liu Jia ‘s Fish, I usually go for the black cod or the freshwater fish. I only go for their classic flavor—it’s unbeatable!
I have friends who finish the fish and still ask to pack their soup base to enjoy at home later~
Their barbecue and hot pot skewers are also excellent~

Did they change chefs again? The food is getting worse and worse. The silkworm pupae were completely burnt and cloyingly salty. The grilled skewers were the same—overly salty and awful. The fish was obviously different; the texture had changed drastically. They’re getting progressively worse. I used to be a regular customer, eating here for over a year, but I’ll never eat here again.
