It’s my second time here and it keeps getting better. This time we got Kao Piak noodle soup, the cucumber salad, fried intestines, and crab fried rice. Everything was really good. The salad was medium spicy and too spicy for me but I’m a wuss so it’s okay. My friend really enjoyed it. The Kao Piak noodle soup was outstanding! I’ve never had such chewy noodles and the soup was just so tasty. Loved the crispy pork and everything in it.

Crab fried rice was good and my all time favorite was the fried intestines. Crispy and very delicious. I’ll definitely get that again.

It’s clean and spacious inside with good, friendly service. Love that we have such good options for Laotian food here.

Lao Kitchen was absolutely fantastic! The Lao pork sausage was a standout—crispy edges, packed with flavor, and paired with an amazing sauce that brought a perfect, lingering heat. I went with medium heat papaya salad, and wow—it was a good sweat! (If you’re not big on spice, definitely go for mild or lower.) The crispy pork with broccoli was another winner—tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a sweet, umami-rich sauce.

Beyond the incredible food, the service was top-notch. We arrived at 2:45 PM, not realizing they close for a break from 3-4 PM, but instead of turning us away, they warmly invited us in and took care of us. That level of hospitality really stood out and made the experience even better.

Great food, amazing service—I highly recommend this place!

I tried Lao Kitchen recently and WOW, this place instantly became one of my new favorites.

I ordered the Gang Nor Mai (bamboo soup) and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with tender bamboo, pork belly, mushrooms, pumpkin, and basil leaf. It had that perfect earthy, herbal Lao flavor that’s hard to find anywhere else. It tasted like something straight from someone’s family kitchen, comforting, balanced, and deeply satisfying.

I also had the papaya salad, and it was spot on. Fresh, crunchy, perfectly seasoned, and the spice level was just right. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. It paired perfectly with the soup, making the whole meal feel complete and super refreshing.

The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and everything tasted authentic. If you’re craving real Lao flavors, this is the spot.

Highly recommend Lao Kitchen, especially the Gang Nor Mai and the papaya salad. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love this place! Every time I’m in LV I have to come back. The food is so good and the service is always great. Lao and Thai flavors are super close, so when you taste it you know it’s authentic! That’s why so many Thai people come here too. Never disappoints, always delicious, and I highly recommend it!

A really cozy spot in the plaza. The staff is so friendly and the food is some of the best Laotian food I’ve had in the US.

The fried intestines are a great snack. Very crispy and it comes with a sweet and savory sauce, and some fresh cabbage.

The mango sticky rice was such a hidden gem. Probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. The mango was so sweet, the rice so soft, and the sauce was the right amount of sweetness.

I can’t recommend this place enough. And it’s next to a few Pokemon Go gyms and stops! Great for a place to hang while you passively play haha

We ordered papaya salad, beef soup, beef laab and sticky rice, the ultimate comfort food trio. We would’ve ordered more food but we were headed out to another restaurant for dinner and didn’t want to be too full.
The beef laab was good but a little too bitter for me. The soup was soothing and the beef intestines were very tender and delicious. However,my favorite dish was the papaya salad, very good.

It’s at least 7 miles away from the strip but I would have to say it’s worth the trip. We ordered pork belly, Lao papaya salad, beef Jerky, and of course sticky rice.
I liked the beef jerky the best. It was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. It was pretty busy on a Sunday night but the lone server took care of everybody’s tables like a pro. Parking is not a problem, there’s plenty.
From now on, every time I come to Las Vegas, I will come to this place for my Lao food cravings.

Amazing authentic Lao/thai food!! I can’t stop thinking about both the fried pork intestines dipped in a spicy acidic sauce and mango sticky rice. I wish my belly is bigger so I could eat more here. Everybody was super friendly. Would love to go back if I come back to Vegas!

Let me review for you!
I was at Lao kitchen 12/26/2023, ordered just 3 dishes, I really wasn’t hungry but I needed to try since I don’t come to Vegas that much.

1)far from strip/main area of Vegas
2)unique dining set up, nothing fancy at all.
3)food took a while to come out.
4)slow services due to ONLY one person who wore crocks serving us, not very polite, just straight forward and not friendly.
5)overall great quality food, yet most of all, expensive forbade small portions of beef jerky and sausages. Even the papaya salad laobstyle was good but not enough for two people to relish.

The best Lao restaurant I’ve ever been to and I always visit this restaurant when I fly in from Hawaii. I eat Lao food frequently because my wife’s family is Lao and this place comes very close to home cooking. I read some reviews and some people are saying bad things about this place but trust me this place never let me down once with its great flavor and service.
