So glad we found this place. We tried it today for the first time and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious. The General Taos chicken was my favorite! The chive pancakes were tasty, as were the shrimp and noodles. We had the beef ramen as well. Cannot wait to come back and try more.

It was my first time at this place. I was a little hesitant at first since some noodle spots can feel a bit run-down, but this place is much more than just noodles.
It’s a great Chinese restaurant with excellent food. The dumplings are delicious, and the egg rolls are especially good. The prices are reasonable as well.
Definitely a pleasant surprise.

I had a late lunch there and I was surprised at how many people were coming in and going out past 2 PM. That right there tells you there’s something great going on and didn’t take long for me to find out what it was service was great and they were fast. We started with some fried greens and dumplings and man I was blown away. The green beans were crisp and juicy, just perfect. Then we tried a couple different entrees, and I went for the house specialty with fried pulled noodles and chicken, and it was amazing. It is also not expensive, less than 20 bucks per person and my favorite, Jasmine tea to drink.

This place has great food overall. My chicken noodle soup was missing a bit of depth in the broth, but the Shanghai pan-fried dumplings and the ribs were incredibly flavorful. Next time, I’ll definitely try something different. It’s a very authentic spot, and I highly recommend it.

Got the soup dumplings, fried rice, chicken, and duck. Everything was fresh & good. The noodles are handmade & incredibly fresh. The service was so prompt & friendly. We dined in & were done in less than 90 mins. Would definitely come back again.

We ordered the pan-fried dumplings, soup dumplings, and duck noodles. The pan-fried dumplings were excellent. Clearly homemade, perfectly crisp, and full of flavor. The soup dumplings were disappointing tho. We ordered the pork ones, but they were filled mostly with glass noodles and green onions, which felt like a cost-cutting shortcut. The duck noodles were just okay; you can easily find better at the food courts near the Chinese supermarkets in Duluth. The gender-neutral bathrooms were also noticeably dirty.

Everything about Lanzhou is irresistible. Check out the chefs making noodles by hand and if you love the heat, ask for your dish extra spicy. Can’t wait to go back.

Great food, very tasty- a well deserved rating. The service was pretty good but not great; perhaps it was the time of the day, still it was just ok. This is not an upscale restaurant so cannot expect a great atmosphere.

There’s plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant, the service was courteous. I ordered Beef tripe noodle and my wife ordered house special noodle. My noodle and soup was okay, but beef, tripe and tendon was hard to chew, I’m very disappointed. BTW, I lived in Lanzhou for almost 20 years, I know what authentic Lanzhou beef noodle tastes like, I would rate the noodle far from authentic or poor imitation. My wife’s house special noodle was very salty, she could not stand.

My favorite comfort food … a bowl of Lanzhou style had pulled noodles with brisket. The spicy chicken appetizer was okay.
