The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. Everyone in our group finished everything presented and we left happy and very full.
The steaks were well cooked, juicy and delicious.

Booked lanterns for my Grandaughters 17th birthday. What amazing staff they have the meals were lovely we had 23 in our party and meals were served so quick starters and mains. They were so accommodating how they done it i dont know. Thank you to all the staff. See you again soon x

We booked last minute as it was close to our hotel.
We were so pleased! Lovely atmosphere, amazingly hard working and lovely staff.
The food was incredible.
It was lovely to see all the chefs cooking in the open kitchen.
We will definitely be going back next time we are in Plymouth.

Went with a party of five for someone’s birthday, staff were clean and tidy service was very good . Very quite when we went there, so the food was served very quickly, which felt like we were rushing our meals.
The food was very nice but the gammon was burnt on one side thats why I gave a four rating. Other wise it was very nice.

Popped by last night, Lanterns were very busy but managed to squeeze us in as a walk in.
Service was fantastic, in fact our lemonade didn’t have any syrup in it and it was zero issue or fuss to get us a replacement.
Food was beautiful. Presentation was very good, the flavours were amazing, and the prices were very reasonable.

We are regulars and decided to invite our cousin for lunch. Everything, as always, was outstanding. The prawn cocktail was so tasty, and, the garlic mushrooms were the best I had ever tasted. Had to order extra bread to mop up. Beautiful. We always order the burger. We were a little disappointed as it wasn’t as light as usual and it is so tender it generally falls apart. I guess it’s what we are used to. We prefer your original burgers. The staff as always were wonderful.

What a wonderful restaurant! The staff are very attentive and friendly, and nothing seems too much.
I had the best beef, so tasty with an abundance of all the veg you could dream of, really nicely presented and extra gravy if you wanted. The pavlova pudding was so good, crunchy yet chewy soft, lots of sauce and fruit.
They were super busy, the place was packed, this only added to the wonderful atmosphere, 7 of us ate and had all 3 extremely tasty courses, such a quick turnaround, all done within 90 mins and no pressure from the attentive staff.
Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, we hope to come back soon. Happy Christmas
