Very good pizza with a good selection. The dough had a great cook, plenty of air in it and a nice toasty crisp top crust. This is not a crust you will be leaving on the plate when you are done either. We had a pepperoni and a “The B-OG” which we ordered with the hot honey on the side as I am not a fan of sweet with savory dishes. Wife enjoyed the hot honey with the pizza though. I would like to say this is a close second place of pizza that we have had and we have driven to Minnesota for pizza at Pizzeria Lola from Ann Kim. I also was able to get some of the giardiniera which while very good, hot little heat until you hit the oil at the bottom so. I would recommend mixing it up before using if you like the heat to be throughout, but honestly, the fresh crispness of the peppers without was an amazing pair for the pizza.
The sauce was amazing on the pizzas as well because they were not overly sweet and still had distinct flavors that did not just seem like “pizza sauce”.

Me and my girlfriend have been passing by this pizza place almost every time we drop off our orders at USPS for close to a year now and we’ve always said we needed to stop by. We finally did, and wow… we wish we had sooner! The pizza is literally amazing with so many options to choose from. The service was spot on super welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely our new go to pizza spot!

As someone with celiac disease who has to eat a gluten free diet, this place is a little slice of paradise. The gluten free crust is soft on the inside and crunchy out, it has the same texture of focaccia bread. There is a separate oven and prep space for gf pizza so cross contact is no a worry.
There are many different toppings options we try and try something new every time, but the buffalo and spinach artichoke are standouts.
Even the non gf people in our group loved the gluten free crust! We will definitely be back and are making this a new place in our rotation.

We were craving some woodfired pizza when we came across this place. I was surprised that I didn’t know about this place earlier. We got the Fredo’s chicken and shroom pizza and loved it! It was perfectly baked, had right amount of toppings and was very delicious. We loved the garlic bread and marinara dip. The atmosphere is relaxed and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you want to have a good woodfired pizza!

My young family and I went to Lantern Pizza Co on Saturday night. We’re huge fans of Neapolitan-style pizza and had a great experience. When we came in, the owner asked my daughter the name of her stuffed animal (puppy) and he brought out a dog water dish for it. It was a cute gesture and representative of the type of service we received while there. They gave dough to the kids to play with before the pizzas came out and my girls had so much fun with it. Didn’t love them bringing it in the car home with them but so it goes.
The pizza was tasty! We had a cheese, two pepperonis and the Don’t Tell Mama between the four of us (don’t judge, they’re only 12″) and had enough to take home a few slices. My only suggestion is that they have a/some dipping sauces to serve with the pizza. One of our favorites in the city is Coalfire and they made me a whipped ricotta addict for dipping my kids unfinished crusts in there. We’ll be back to dine in again. Glad we took a risk (pizza night is sacred in our house) and tried this spot. Encourage you to do the same if you’re craving this type of pie.

I’ve been searching for years for a good pizza joint and Lantern Pizza is it! The service is impeccable and they are a Coke establishment.
They also have a pizza bar top right next to the kitchen so you can sit, eat and watch them make pizza. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to the area and tried Lantern Pizza this evening. The pizza was delicious with great quality toppings and the perfect crust. The staff were so incredibly nice! Big plus that they give pizza dough to children to play with while waiting for the pizza to cool. I can’t wait to go back!

We have been going to Lantern since we moved to DG last year and EVERY time it is the best experience. The staff, particularly the owners are the most kind and generous people. Always taking time to talk with my two kids and making them feel so welcomed. The pizza is always great and we always leave with full bellies and smiling. My five year old already proclaimed she wants to be a “Lantern girl” when she’s older! Thanks for all you do for the neighborhood, Lantern team!!

The ladies working there tonight were amazing. Super friendly and so nice. The pizza was warm delicious and very tasty. The crust was nice and thin and the crust had a lovely crispy crust. If you’re looking for fresh pizza this is the place for you. Garlic knots were good but a little over cooked
