My friend and I came here on Sunday Morning for brunch. Oh My Goodness Me OH My!!!!! Seriously some of the best food I have had….EVER! We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Delayne, and absolute doll. I ordered the homemade cornbeef hash which was actually homemade and DEELISH. My friend had the homemade biscuits and gravy which again were actually homemade and enough to serve 4 people. Absolutely phenomenal. We met the new owner, Chad…amazing down to earth guy. He gave us a taste of the shrimp and grits special and we ended up ordering some to go. We will definitely be coming back here for the food, drink and friendliness.

If you have not been lately, then head on over and see the changes!!! Place looks fantastic, really cleaned up and much brighter. The food has greatly improved and new delicious deserts are being added to the menu! Weekly they have entertainment from Bingo, Trivia to just some great football action on TV. Such a great spot , wish it was closer. Inviting & friendly people with a fantastic staff !!!

Local Bills Sports Bar/ Diner recently under new owner.
They renovated this place over the summer and ugraded the food and menu.
We had a good lunch. -They have lunch special menu. I had the chicken salad. The owner said they make it fresh made along with the cole slaw.
Apparently for the Bills games they make Beef- on-Weck sandwiches.

First off, I must say…Chad (owner) is fabulous. Best owner ever! Now the bar tenders ( Leni, Virginia, Stacie, and Barbara) they are the most attentive and kind I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with…absolutely love them. What can I say about the food? Freaking fantastic!!! Never had a bad meal. Working my way through the awesome menu and looking forward to my next culinary adventure. If you haven’t tried The Lantern you must put it on your list and get here soon!

We’ve been here for happy hours and evenings in the past but recently they started doing breakfast on the weekends. Did it a couple times now so I thought I’d share that we had really good breakfasts at the Lantern Local Tavern! Omelettes are a great treat and the matching potatoes have peppers and onions in the skillet. The owners and staff treat you well and it just rounds out an already great place to throughout the week!

Had the most delicious breakfast at Lantern today. We got the smoked salmon platter, steak and eggs and French toast. The steak was cooked medium rare to perfection. The bagel was so fresh and salmon perfectly smoked and tender. Our server Erin was prompt and friendly. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10

i got 10 garlic wings and they came out pretty dry/overcooked. also ordered yuengling from the tap and it had a funky taste to it. the bar tender was nice. the inside was very brightly lit. no real desire to go back.
