We had an incredible find today! FINALLY!
A BIG Note:::1st, I do not care for smoked BBQ and side dishes as so many are so different, not my liking. I try it rarely as my hubby loves it.
We went last week an hour before closing and they were out of most items. Today I went at 11ish and had everything but chicken which was sold out shortly before my arrival.
Hours are 9a-3p. When they run out fast, we know why! The owner has a business model that proves he is strict and picky about his BBQ therefore will only serve his best while open! Who can blame any business for being so delicious they cannot keep up with demand, now will they as someone could be getting less than his perfection.
Well, I decided to buy a smorgasbord to see if it met our high standards of liking.
After I got home with our carry out foods of bulk brisket, pork, full rack of ribs, potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw, reg and spicy Bbq sauce, OMG…We were in pure disbelief that anyone can produce the most delicious, tender, tasty, freaking incredible BBQ EVER in our life. I will now choose his foods over any other dish in the area except a burger and foods he does not provide. Now our biggest problem is not knowing which meal to get next time as they were all so perfectly awesome! I got everything thinking we could rule out our least favorite. Wrong! Not here!
His ribs were unbelievable-I cut my few ribs off the rack, thought I would be messy eating off the bones, well his rib bones are clean before you get them to your mouth! So tender and juicy, they slide right off. The meats are so moist. Service by all was so upbeat and caring, yet have system to quickly keep those long lines moving. We are still amazed and cannot wait to dig into our left overs.

Now if you’re looking for fancy atmosphere this may not be the place. But it’s barbecue. The people are super friendly and it’s exactly what you should want. The brisket was sold out because they say that’s their most popular. The ribs were utterly amazing. Literally the meat comes right off the bone clean you could cut it with your finger to separate all the ribs.

Had lunch with my wife here recently. We both ordered the baked potato with pork. The serving size was large and the price was good also. We ate outside and the owner checked on us to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend!

Visiting from Florida we were looking for some BBQ. We stumbled upon this tasty local BBQ spot definitely worth stopping for. Meats were so tender yet bursting with that smoky Tennessee flavor, that’s how you know it’s done right. Every bite just makes you say and think ‘yum’. Also tried the BIG RIG, beans, mango slaw, and ‘tater salad, which all were delicious. Try the mango slaw, it’s definitely different in a good way! We’re so happy they were able to accommodate our family into their establishment despite us being a large party so unexpectedly, to that we also appreciate their welcoming personalities. Love supporting local businesses and spreading word when the output of a business needs to be commended for a great job such as this one. 10/10 highly recommend if you’re around the area or if you want to make a quick detour for some yummy BBQ!

BEST BBQ I swear! I recommend the BBQ Loaded Nachos they are smoked and smothered with pulled pork, beans, cheese, bbq sauce, and I recommend adding Brisket! We also always get some Ribs and Brisket (you have to get there early before he runs out for the day). You must try it all! Sooooo good! Everything is always so moist and juicy!!! Great prices for the portions you get! The owners are very friendly and fun to chat with too!!
Once I even took extra on the airplane back home to Colorado to share with the family, it was that good! Which made for some hangry people on the plane smelling that delicious BBQ for 3.5 hours, whoopsy. I’ll be back next time and everytime I’m back in Crossville!
