Their fried rice is still very good and the garlic chicken was good.
The On Shore noodle soup was still good, but the flat rice noodles were in one, big, inseparable clump. Someone in the kitchen put the noodles in the soup, right? They didn’t care that the noodles were one big inseparable clump? Disappointing… but we’d probably visit Lanna Thai again if we go to Tulsa.
Given that it was a holiday weekend, I expected the place to be bustling, but to my surprise, it was pleasantly quiet. As soon as we stepped inside, we sensed that we were in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we were promptly seated. Our waitress swiftly arrived with a friendly smile, offering us drinks and appetizers.
Before diving into the menu, I decided to check out the restrooms—a detail some might overlook, but I find it can speak volumes about a restaurant’s attention to detail. While the facilities were clean, they could certainly benefit from a refresh. A minor flaw, but worth noting.
We thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company as we waited for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was well worth the anticipation. The presentation was appetizing, and the aromas that wafted from our dishes were tantalizing. We eagerly dug in, and the unanimous verdict was that the food was as delicious as it looked.
The staff at Lanai Thai truly enhanced our dining experience. They were not only courteous and attentive but also genuinely pleasant. Our waitress, in particular, shared with us why she enjoyed working there—a small but lovely detail that made our visit feel more personal.
As we finished our meal, we couldn’t help but speculate about what we might try the next time we return—because there will definitely be a next time. Thank you, Lanai Thai, for the delightful food and memorable evening!
On top of it, she charged me $16 dollars and had the audicity to ask me if I wanted my change back!
She seemed like she was prejudice or had an attitude because I informed her that I wanted my change back!
I use to be a faithful customer, but never again will I take my business there!
She very rude, and as I sat there waiting my order was just sitting there, like I was some kind of ghost!
Very unprofessional and no manner!
I’m going to post this experience on Facebook!
There was nothing wrong with the food at all, but the two meals we had just didn’t stand out as food that would cause me to come back. The service was also pretty average. The food server seemed to be in a big hurry; she brought out the food and then raced back towards the kitchen. We had no tableware. I yelled at her just before she got out of sight and made hand motions of trying to eat without silverware. She then brought some.
We had the #13 Green Curry with Chicken and the # 19 Pad Khing with Chicken. Both meals had lots of fresh vegetables and the portions were ample. It tasted good, but I would order something different if I returned.
The restaurant is a big, clean, with average food and service that is friendly, but not outstanding
I know everyone has a bad day so it doesn’t bother me that much.
Am too happy and satisfied with the food. It’s very hard to find good food these days especially if you are Vegan. But they have a lot of vegetarian and Vegan options. Thank you Lanna Thai.
